If they go out of the UCL, this will be almost all they have left: their cup final, which is amusing on one level but also makes them dangerous. City seemed to be Everton's cup final for a few years under Dave and they regularly won it.

There is no room for complacency and the current focus should be on Fulham but if City take their A-game to the Swamp, the Rags will find it very hard. One of the big questions for me is: will United go into this with a nothing to lose mindset or will they be shitting it?

What do you think? Jones and Rio "zimmer" Ferninand at the back?

Got to be honest, I'm shitting it. My opinion was that they only really had 2 games left to play this season, us & Liverpool. I thought they would raise their game & win at least one of them. We saw what happened against Liverpool, so hopefully my prediction is wrong.

Still can't wait though my current record is 3 wins & 3 defeats with 1 game (the Rooney shin) missed at the swamp since 2008.

You're missing out Olympiacos, that is a bigger game in the wider context of United's season.

It will be four games in ten days when we rock up - I see Van Pussy or Rooney getting injured before us.

This is by far and away the biggest difference in ability between our teams (in our favour) in my lifetime. There isn't a single one of their team would get in ours. We know how to play them and we have the fear factor.

So why am I convinced they are going to beat us?

The complacency some people seem to have about this fixture doesn't sit right with me. We should win but nothing would please them more to throw a spanner in our works and they have enough quality to cause most teams a problem on their day. Let's not forget that we have lost matches against worse sides than them this season.

Wise words Sir. I too am thinking we should easily be able to give them an absolute spanking, but we should have done that to Wigan shouldn't we?!?
