Some right flappers on here. Swansea are a nice well coached side who play an open expansive game. As long as pellers goes like for like (ie 5 in midfield one up top) then we should have nothing to fear. If we are serious about winning the league than these are the games we should be winning. Respect them for sure but don't fucking sit back admiring them.

I would go for:

.................................Hart
Zabaletta........Kompany........Nastasic........Clichy
....................Yaya..........Fernandinho
Navas....................Nasri..........Milner
..........................Negredo

Prediction 0-2 with that line up.

We can't let this juggernaut slow down one bit now.
I like that team, if Milner is fit.

i have a fear that Manuel is going to pick Dzeko and Negredo and go 4-4-2 in the absence of Silva.

Arsenal's 2 consecutive away wins over Christmas were a real boost for them. Something we wouldn't have been able to pull off.

I see a frustrating draw at best against Swansea. Our away form is going to cost us the title.

Are you one of those fortune tellers?

Did you see it in the tea leaves or the entrails of a chicken?

I can see Pelle going with a Dzeko/Negredo partnership again..

Our away form has improved dramatically, if it was October still I'd be nervous as fuck for Wednesday, but I'm quietly confident, Nasri needs to be in the form he's been while Silva has been playing, because without him, there is obviously less of a creative spark.

Top Post-To many flappers We are CITY STRONGER IN EVERY DEPARTMENT!Negredo to down the Taffs

Lawro's prediction for what it's worth:

Swansea have not had a win in five Premier League games since they beat Newcastle at the start of December and they are still without Michu up front and Michel Vorm in goal, which will not help them end that poor run.
Manchester City have not had much joy at the Liberty Stadium since Swansea came up to the top flight, losing there in 2012 and drawing 0-0 last season.
But I think they will get their first win there on New Year's Day. Manuel Pellegrini's side have got the bit between their teeth at the moment and they are just starting to kick on.
Lawro's prediction: 0-2

I can see a repeat of the home game - they will have lots of possession , pass it around very neatly but not look like scoring .
We can hit on the break , but I fear we may have to do more grinding out.

Ha ha, I really don't know why some of them even bother, every bloody game they are out in force, like Prophets of Doom

Not going to be an easy game but I am positive that we still have the quality to get the 3 points. We have to show that extra desire and ruthlessness to get us in a winning position.

Its wierd to think of the daft sense of optimism (usually misplaced) and couldn't give a fuck attitude of our dark days, and yet now we are good every fucker gets alll morbid

It's all about mentality this game. We've hit a great vein of form, beaten Munich away, got a superb squad, we are top scorers, we are better man for man and have had the chance to rest players. We simply need to start with a good tempo and a determination to win. I can only see us losing if our attitude is not right.

Or are you pissed?, because our away form has been excellent recently. Why waste finger energy typing such fucking shite, it beggars belief!.
