People don't seem to understand how big of a character Gabriel is. He was put into the Brazil side at 18-19 and was brilliant. He has came into the city side and been great.

People saying 'don't put too much pressure on the kid' he tribes off pressure! The future is Gabriel, Sané and Sterling when Aguero, Silva etc leave in the next few years.

the feel good factor is definitely back! gutted that we aren't playing today and that I have to wait until tomorrow to see us play gain! lol

It was fine midweek when all bar Manure had played so we had the advantage of knowing where we stood.

Chelsea aside we are well placed to put pressure on the other 4 sides fighting for three places now and one game at a time is all the players have to be focused on.

Spurs , Manure, Liverpool and Arsenal will drop points in their last 15 games for sure and a fair few I would suggest , hopefully we drop fewer.

Who mentioned that, who ever said that?

Sterling has been fantastic this season though, and tactically more suited to our style right now

Dont know why so many people are getting their backs up, I am saying for tomorrows game, the front 3 should stay the same
Leicester won the league based on consistency, the same way Chelsea are doing now
I am saying that front 3 deserve the chance of a home game against Swansea who will sit deep and where we need movement to break them down, can't see an argument against it other than keeping Aguero happy. meh
You are right, I don't give a shit what you think

I think a few more will come along to put pressure on these three as well and in reality the sooner the better.

Its how it has to be and should be and is healthy.

Its good if Kun and Silva have to fight for his place each game.

Seriously would they want it any other way now.

We might be surprised where some of them come from.

Sergio will start tomorrow, of that I have zero doubt.

Wouldn't surprise me if Sterling had a rest.

Vince to start too, shouldn't be the most taxing of afternoons for him.

Kompany and Aguero will start tomorrow, I'm sure. I expect Gabriel to start on the left wing and have his first full home debut. Either Sané on the right or someone different maybe Nolito, navas etc?

For me pep has to start the same front 3. All of them are hungry and confident. The only changes I would make would be vinnie for Otamendi and fern for yaya. I think we have found the right balance between attack and defence there with plenty of pace up front. No slacking either because Swansea are in decent form at the moment.

Start the hot 3!!!
Folks only agree with this seemingly understandable point when their favorites are on the list or when their unfavored are excluded. The moment that stops being the case, they start making nonsensical arguments for why what should be shouldn't be.

I mean, same people who think Willy should definitely keep is place based on his performance, now suddenly think The front 3 should not keep theres. Strange that twisted logic.

No one has said get rid of Sergio, or never start Sergio (that's a red herring).

No one has said Sterling, Sane or Jesus for that matter is better than Sergio. That too is a red herring.

All folks are saying is to keep the players on form playing and ride that form. As many have correctly pointed out they will show inconsistency eventually and then we can bring in Aguero to save the day.

By the way, just a pet peeve of mine. Inconsistency is not a youth problem, it's a human one. Young and old players show inconsistency all the time. Case in point, Aguero.

Those who really want Aguero to play only have 1 legitimate argument: that being it is not in the best interest to play those 3 3 games in a row in 8-9 days.

All the other arguments so far don't hold water.

Manager decides based on form , gut feel / observation , opposition , harmony of squad , availability.

Always a balancing act , often robs Peter to pay Paul but in the end its only the results that count.

Gets them right in the majority of cases and gets the kpi's set or exceeds them and he keeps his job for as long as is mutually desired with his boss unless his name is Wenger.

it will be a very different test for whoever plays upfront tomorrow compared to the west ham game who afforded us a lot of room....Im expecting a return to the park the bus type tactics that we usually see at our place by most teams

GJ is made for those tyoe of tactics however so has to start......

Sane won't have the space to run into that he did have vs west ham but he has also shown he is good one on one in tight spaces.

Sterling likewise is good in those tight spaces but his finishing lets him down so for me its a call between him and Kun.......

Knowing pep however we will all be surprised.

I do wonder if this is where Pep wishes he had a forward like lewandowski etc who is useful in the air as a plan B?
