Swansea Post Match thread

Anyone...and l mean ANYONE who think we won because we played 4-5-1, go and see someone who can reset your brain. All this formation-stuff is so overrated. Just a cheap excuse to blame Pellegrini. We won because we have more class. That's it.

We DID win however. And we could have won more comfortable yet we could have lost as easily. Hart save of season, but from a corner we gave away in comedy-capers style. Bony goal was pure class. Yaya MotM ... really? Ah well. It was funny and l could do with a laugh.

Hope rags get beat. And we end season in style. For that we need to be twice as good as today at least ...

Very entertaining
Class from Joe
Zab and MDM not up to scratch
Poor from Mangala, after playing well, recently
not bad from Kolarov
Fat Frank did ok, as did Fernandinho
Class from the Cakemonster
Good show from Milner
Silva did ok, but a few too many wayward passes (which is unlike him)
Sergio held the ball upwell, when isolated
Bony looks good
Taxi for Navas. Poor all season, for an international player

Good show from Swansea, always competative

Hart 2 great saves, great doesn't really do the 2nd one justice, YaYa 2 goal but for me the man over 90 mins was Silva
This thought Yaya had a very good game, but Silva MOTM for me also. What I witnessed at times today from him can only be described as scintillating.

Navas has not been poor all season. Far from it

Could have been 7-6.
Keep Yaya and just play him forward tucked in behind Sergio and then he won't be as knackered, is the plainest thing of all.
Navas only good as an impact sub.
Mangala - the Swanesealad went past him like hewasn't there in the first half. Been found out too many times for me.
If only Silva had a shot on him.

But with four goals away from home City can afford a few problems.
12 goals this season and no shot on him, he's more of a magician than I imagined.

Really enjoyed that performance though their 2nd goal highlighted why we're 2nd and not top. Top class saves from Joe to keep us ahead.

Stats can tell you many things, but I fear these
<a class="postlink" href="http://www.whoscored.com/Players/9446" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.whoscored.com/Players/9446</a>
are quite damning
