Way too old at 35 to play in the Prem now. Just because he is better than Garrido is no reason to get him....... even on a free.

Would be more of a signing for off the field then on the field. He's won just about everything he could as a player, and would certainly bring that winning mentality to the squad.

He may be old but would just be defensive cover. If he only plays a few matches he could be very useful defensive cover. He didn't look to bad against the rags in the CL final.
