Mike ''Porky'' Parry having a rant at ''Davey'' and the Rags in particular, Brazil sounds shocked at the venom from Parry.
Everton are not a poodle for utd to roll over and tickle our belly they are insulting a honourable club

I thought Parry was pretty embarrassing this morning. His oddness used to be mildly amusing but this morning he was proper annoying. He tries to play for laughs but cant quite do it. Can see why they got rid.

I was on my way to Bristol today listening to Colin Murray. I was listening to a segment of his show that was called "you've got 15 seconds with the manager of your club and can say anything you want; what would you say?" I'd pulled over to take a break - tiredness can kill you know - and God knows what possessed me, but I rang in. It's in the 12:00-12:30 segment; around 26:00 mins in:

<a class="postlink" href="http://talksport.com/radio/listen-again/1377075600#" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://talksport.com/radio/listen-again/1377075600#</a>

I apologise to Blues everywhere.

Had to laugh when I heard it. Made a change from all the moaning Arsenal fans who don't really understand what supporting a team is all about. Nothing to apologise for there.

The Romford plonker this morning said we've only recently been rivals to United because before 6 or 7 years ago we were always in lower divisions.

Take away the obvious mistake in years we were in the lower divisions, he is right in the main point he is making. We are only recently rivals where challenging for trophies is concerned.

It's not bollocks in the scheme of what is happening now. For years we've not even been close to United in terms of challenging them for trophies, and a derby win was the highlight of a season and they were few and far between. Winning derbies now means more because it means we are taking points off them in a title challenge or knocking them out of a cup we are as good as anyone to win. In that sense we are only recently challengers to United so don't insult my intelligence with the 'do I think football was invented in 1992' bollocks, because I know the point which is being made by Parlour.

Actually, in the 60's and 70's, we were major rivals. Granted, the 80's, 90's and most of the 00's, they were either materially or metaphorically in a different league, but it wasn't always the case. I suppose it depends upon your timescales, but if he actually said 'until 6 or 7 years ago City were always in lower divisions', he's wrong.

unless he qualified it with something like "in recent history", then it just sounds like a typical ignorant comment served up by a clueless arsenal fan - in which case it is bollocks

He probably joined in with the Chelsea fans singing "stand up if you've won the league" a few seasons ago. Another ignorant bunch who think the Premier league was when football began.

The main point I was making was that the dopy pillock said that we were ALWAYS in lower divisions before the last few years.

I know, but that isn't the point he was making and he obviously has his history fucked up, or maybe just made a mistake like we all do from time to time. His actual point is that it is only recently that we have become rivals for trophies again, which of course is correct.

I know what his main point was and agreed with it, I was just pointing out what he said was the reason.

Nice one.

Did we not rival for trophies in the 50/60/70's?
