looks like 2 stone gone there

Just from his head!!

Did I just hear Platt admit some of the players didn't like Mancini?

I that was the case it was inevitable he was going to go, I love the bloke but you cannot have a hostile environment in the camp.

How good a player was Mancini? I've seen clips but he's not held in as high regard as Baggio, Vialli or even Lombardo.
He was very good, no he was brilliant, and a hard bastard as well

Do we all like our boss?

Plath confirming that Mancini was a bit difficult .. And demanding, choosing his words carefully!
I think the word you're looking for is winner.
Pretty much what Platt was alluding to, think most people accept that though mate. Obviously some of our more illustrious cabal members know better so not including them.. :-)

sounds like he pushed them hard and some didnt like it.If they had accepted it then we would likely still be champions

Brilliant interview... Keys testing him with questions others wouldn't have the bottle to ask and the ones we have been wanting answers to... I, for one, was very impressed with platt and wish him and Robbie all the best for the future

Odd then that our owners sacked him, eh?!

It was certainly enlightening

Love to know who the players were who had the knives out for Mancini
I know this may seem odd but I really have a suspicion that getting rid of Nige was the catalyst to our troubles.(within the changing room)
I'd read an article some time back that he was the fun and games master for the squad. He'd organise most of the extracurricular activities and was the linch pin between work and play.
Maybe it hit some harder than others and they turned against the gaffer.

-- Fri Aug 16, 2013 10:15 pm --

Didn't take long... :-) Nothing odd about it Exeter, his time was up as his management style didn't work towards the end. Life goes on and a city move onwards and upwards - everyone's a winner.

Platt interview(City talk about the 25min point)
