Talksport

Yup, this... there needs to be a stiffening of the sinew at City's PR Dept....
Imagine yourself in charge of a business (or even a public sector organisation such as a college or university)... what would be your response to mass media defamation of your brand?

...ffs , it's not rocket science...

As much as I detest that station - their points at least have some validity on this one. There are friendlies and there are friendlies.
It was a prestige friendly, watched by millions around the world. Wouldn't have done us any harm to put a better account of ourselves.

That was always going to be difficult with only two youngsters available as CBs up against a full strength set of Madrid forwards. throw in the fact that our midfield went soft after Pellegrini rejigged the formation when Delph went off and it's no surprise we got a bit of a beating.

It was a real brain of Britain clash on Talksport this morning. Attacking City, Cundy said: "There is no difference between transfer spend and net spend." Bingham's reply: "I don't understand this stuff anyway." I hope they have both got good accountants.

Stupid, throwaway soundbites. Does she honestly think a billionaire doesn't employ competent accountants?
It all goes unchallenged though. It has to really. We've seen the result of calling them out on their bullshit.

So who would you have played?

Mangala and Bony were both ill. Kompany is on parental leave and our South American contingent is still on holiday.

With all of those missing, we played as strong a side as we could, IMHO.
