Couldn't disagree more - swallowing ones pride has nothing to do with it, he simply doesn't deserve to be involved in what could be a historic season, we come up short then it's those players who will feel it along with us fans, he couldn't give 2 fucks, he's here because of legal ramifications and to put himself back in the window, the thought of him tainting another picture with a trophy in it leaves me sick!

We got here as a team without him, let's finish it without the prick!
I can't help thinking of him lifting the FA Cup having thrown down on the floor those City scarves. Still, some people don't seem to have a problem with this.

I hated that too , but he subsequently lost the captainship....
I hate the little shit but he left the rags for us and caused them major humiliation. he's a selfish little boger but if he can win us the prem v the scum .... rock on !!!

The club is bigger than the player and that is what even Tevez has had to grasp

Both sides have had to give a little to resolve this but ultimately City are the winners IMHO...The tevez has ost a lot inthis latest round and it's coming up on Talkshite news as I type

What is it with this infatuation of winning it against the rags? Titles are won and lost over a 38 game season, it's frankly poor form to even try and digest him being part of it- we stand as a team, sloth fratellis good looking cousin has no part to Play other than being yayas bobby bouche!

Whilst there is a part of me that never wants to see him pull a shirt on for us again, it is clear that a fourth striker in the run-in would come in pretty handy. It would give us (even) more options and if he came back to anywhere near his best could be pivotal.
I can only see RM playing him if he gets a personal apology and hope he sits him on the bench for a good few games before letting him on.
I want him out of the club at the end of the season as much as anyone else but if the manager thinks he can help us I would put my trust in his judgment. It's been pretty spot on this far.

I was born 22 years after 1972, but I know Rodney Marsh did something.

It's a risk Mancini has to take.
I was born sixteen years after but I still know what happened; we were four points clear (two points for a win days), we signed Rodney, he upset a winning formula and we finished fourth.

No, he doesn't (we are actually top of the league - I don't understand the desperation of some on here), and I don't think he wants to.

Whatever happens we have to keep backing Roberto, the owners and the team.

We should not do anything to disrupt our assault on the title.

Oh and when Tevez comes on as a sub do we sing "who let the dog out" or do we let it go?

Forza Mancini
Support City. The whole affair has illustrated that City are bigger than the player.

Don't let the rags turn City into factions

Agreed mate, late night entertainment at it's best.

I'll never forgive him. What he did was worse than Hitler. It's not even his words. Give him a microphone. He's ugly. I'd rather the rags win. Won't somebody please think of the children.

As if it matters and people wouldn't cheer a goal that clinched a game. I may be alone, but I'd cheer a front three of Glitter, Huntley and West if it guaranteed 3 points every game.

That ^^^^ post along with Danamy's should go into classics !

On that note I'm going up to bed as them posts won't be beaten tonight.
Night fella, I'll be up shortly x

You've left out the two point gap that may have been bigger if Carlos had been part of the team. Yes, it was his own doing, but imagine him in this side. His performance against Wigan was superb, despite his penalty miss, so if he can produce those sorts of performances again and be the difference beteween us winning the title, then he can't come back quick enough.

Let's just try and give this another go before we finally decide that it's time to move on. I'll never forgive him for what he did in Munich, but it's time we all got over ourselves and looked at the bigger picture. On his day, Carlos can be the best in the world in his position, and for once Tevez's desire to play for himself and himself only will befenit City as a club. Tevez cannot be sold unless he gets his arse in gear, so for me, it's a win win situation for City.

I'll be happy to wave goodbye once we have a replacement for him.
He could just as easily be the difference for us losing it. It amazes me, given what happened in 1972, that so many City fans refuse to acknowledge the possibility that his return may damage a winning formula.

i believe he told a sick joke about the toon army which although was quite funny was deemed inappropiate for live television, you would have thought after losing city the championship he would have learnt a lesson

the silly twat

A number of posters have written something along the lines of "If he wins us the league, I don't care what he did".

I just wanted to point out that even if he was the decisive factor in every game from here on in, it wouldn't be true to say he'd "won us the league". Without the fantastic efforts of all the players who didn't piss off to Argentina that have us 2 points clear after 25 games, there'd be no chance to win the league, Tevez or no Tevez. The most he can do now is help us over the finish line. If we do go on and win it, never let it be said that he "won us the league", whatever he does in the remaining games.
