Tevez [Merged]

Stop flapping.

Its been widely reported that Chelsea dropped out, (not that they are even in) if they confirm that it gives Kia another angle to spin until July 1st.
Its all getting rather boring and now you have until next blood Wednesday for us to no longer become favourites and then back again. Tedious.

shhh . . . .

1000 pages
1000 pages
must get to 1000 pages

Besides just had a PM off Spursmad (don't know if anyone else did aswell) but he said Tevez is in the bag, will be anounced July 1st and these comments are just the media trying to spice things up.

So yano chilllllllllllll people he will be a blue =). Spursmad hasn't let us down once yet.

I don't believe for one minute that he has had an offer from Cheslki. I really don't think there's anyone else. I think he will have joined City by next week.

You have to remember as well, Kia is an egomaniac and if he continues to say that Carlos has not made up his mind and keeps stating that there are other deals on the table (including ones from "unknown" clubs) then he will continue to have the press scrambling for interviews with him and hanging onto his every word. Make no mistake, he's loving the attention and is building up to next week's announcement to which he will ensure he is integral to.

Imagine if he said today that Tevez was ours? He would be out of the media spotlight for evermore. He's milking the attention, not necessarily the money.

He's ours....NEXT!

Sorry if already posted, didnt fancy goin through all the pages.

LATEST - City in pole position for Tevez

Carlos Tevez's future will be decided in the next two weeks with Manchester City emerging as favourites for his signature.

The Argentina international's two-year loan stay with Manchester United officially finishes at the end of this month, with the Red Devils failing to agree a permanent extension.

Tevez's adviser Kia Joorabchian confirmed that City, Chelsea and one other unnamed club were now in the running to land the bustling forward, with a resolution expected in the coming days.
Respect

Joorabchian told Radio del Plata: "In the next two weeks, Carlos, Adrian (Rouco, Tevez's agent) and I will meet to sort this out.

"City is a club with most of the chances because they are building a big squad, but it is not a decisive point.

"The contract with United officially runs to until June 30 and we'll respect that. After July 1, we'll see. We may be defined in 10 days."

Too late

Last weekend, Tevez turned down a lucrative five-year offer to stay at Old Trafford, with Joorabchian claiming United were made to pay for their brinkmanship.

He added: "Carlitos has never asked United for money, he has never complained about his contract. It is not a problem regarding money, but we never talked about that in two years.

"In two years, (United manager Sir Alex) Ferguson always said we were going to sit down to negotiate but we never did so.

"He sent an offer, but it was too late because they had not offered anything in two years."

Yeah about 2 minutes ago :P

same page/page before ;)

Question to those who are worried he's not going to sign for us. If you had to put a bet on him not coming or him coming and being fully confident of winning which one would you choose?

I feel like I've gone from pillar to post with whether he'll come personally. First I thought he was staying at the rags, then he was going to Chelsea and now I firmly believe he'll come here. Third time lucky I hope!! I'm the worst for flapping but for some reason I don't feel the need to with this deal. I'm just confident he'll come to Manchester, rather than going to the big smoke.
