Evidence?

Did I dream about that night in Munich then?

He refused to warm up, and to play. You know it, I know it, the fucking whole world knows it. And yet you deny it happened??

I'm amazed there are City fans still defending him.

I can feel that you are struggling with this!

He was found NOT GUILTY. That's the facts. You can have any opinion you like, you can know, the whole world can know it... but Manchester City FC never foiund him guilty of refusing to play.

So, yes, you may have seen what you thought happened in Munich, but that's not what he's been found guilty of.

It's okay, a lot of people struggle trying to separate facts from dreams.

.

I really don't care what the club officially found him guilty or not guilty of (although I see Skashion has pointed to evidence that the club DID find that Tevez was in breach of his obligation to play when instructed, page 18)

I do know what I saw though, as does anyone who watched the events unfold that night.

For the life of me I cannot understand how anyone would welcome Tevez back into the team.

The only one who will welcome Tevez back into the team will be the manager.

Not me, not you. Just the manager.

Will you be as furious with him as you are with Tevez should he select him?

I'm on about a win at all cost mentality. There's no line we wouldn't cross to win the league etc. Although I don't think that even they would be spineless enough to let a player play again that had let their club and supporters down like Tevez has to us. Quite the opposite probably. To me, what Tevez has done is unforgivable. It's not like handing in a transfer request (which he's also done.) He's refused to come onto the pitch when instructed to do so by the boss. If he plays again it shows that players at Manchester City can do literally what the fuck they want and I don't want to support a spineless club like that.
There is nothing spineless about doing what is best for the club. On the field; In the FFPR; In getting him sold; in trying to win the league.

Pride serves no ones interests. If Mancini is willing and Tevez is, everything else is irrelevant. Both are better reconciled. For the short and long term interest of all parties.

The only interest served by the "he must never play for us again" folks is PRIDE! Well fuk pride, it does nothing for me.

As I said earlier, I will lose a lot of respect for the Club and the owners if Tevez plays for us again.
I think Mancini has made it pretty clear there is no place for him any longer. But yes I'd be a bit pissed off if this was to happen. There wouldn't be much I could do about it of course, but I'd be far from happy with it.

If you want to support a team that picks up a lot of trophies at any moral cost then why not support United? I thought this was a fundamental difference between us and them but clearly it's not.
Dude! We were bought by a Sheikh who jettisoned 90% of our players in 3 years. Brought in an Italian to coach us. Poached our star from the club we hate with a passion. If he could we would have gotten the Granny Shagger too. Bought stars from any and everywhere. Gave moree money in wages to players, so much so we have to pay over half their fee, weven when we send them out on loans to help others. Brought in a perpetual City hater to help coach us up. After sacking an Ex Yewnited legend. Our first "post money legend" was a Yewnited retread.

But you didn't draw the moral line over any of those. But sure you draw one over a player signed to our club being allowed to come back to play.

Give me a break! This moral indignation is laughable.

Buying players for large transfer fees from other clubs and paying big wages? Shit, now that you mention it, that's an awful thing to do. Why are you saying that having an Italian manager could be morally questionable?

Doesn't matter whether you dress it up as "refusing to warm up", Tevez refused to play and given that the nearest I can get to play for City is forking out thousands of pounds a season just to be in the same stadium as the players, it's possibly the worst thing a player can do (within the realms of football.) "Morally" is probably the wrong word to be fair but it's a smack in the bollocks to every fan that dreams of playing in the shirt.

^^^this all day^^^

Mancini on SSN just now - Carlos is back in the squad and.....................

'if Carlos is here and he is fit it's possible' (direct quote) he then said Carlos has trained for the last 3 months presumably meaning the guy is fit enough to play.

Mancini also said his only thought now is the Premier League. (putting the tevez saga maturely to bed?

He further said Pizzaro is a high class player and not a risk. He can play defensive or attacking midfield.

It's probably going to happen guys.

If it does I hope we can all be mature enough and put our love for the club first and get behind everybody

Would the squad be stronger with Tevez back for the rest of the season? I have thought long and hard about this and can honestly say I am unable to answer the question.

He's neither here or (match) fit.

If the manager chose to pick Tevez and he was instrumental in us winning the league I for one would feel it would be the best possible outcome from a sad state of affairs.
