I got a bad feeling that Tevez caught the club by surprise with this public statement. Something tells me he didn't discuss this with the club before going public and now he left us with our pants down.

Thanks to that we can forget about getting anything more than 25m for him I think.

Fucking strip him off the Captaincy right now and get rid ASAP.

rubbish!

we have a minimum price for tevez and its a dam site more than 25 mill, if he stays then fine,if he's transferd its market value or we dont sell,if he stays in south america we sue for breach of contract. we can only lose a good player here we will not lose financially

My disappointment will be with City with this whole affair, Tevez has stated all along that he wants to go and nothing was ever going to change his mind.

As a club city now have to say publicly that they will let the player go, however its on our terms. He must be sold for nearer to 50 million, for god sake he was the perm leading scorer last season and in top form the season before. City have only increased Tevez profile and value.

If city was to sell Tevez for anything like the value of Carroll then I for one will be finished with the club, We will be the laughing stock, and the pay day for all mercenary players.

I didnt hear that cook or marwood or sheik mansour were handing out the condoms to Tevez whilst he did the dirty on his wife. So its not City's fault, he signed a 5 year deal on extremely favourable terms and knew exactly what he was getting into.

Yes he's been fantastic, yes hes been outstanding, yes hes been head and shoulders our most consistent forward. But hes been no more fantastic than the 48,000 that pay his wages using their hard earned cash to watch the might army.

Tevez find yourself a club that wants you for £50,000,000 or make up the difference with your own money. Its the fans that will have to find the money to make up the loss if we dont make the £50,000,000 mark in season ticket hikes, merchandise increases etc etc.

Rant over but please please please city dont be taken for a ride.

Im afraid mate, they already have been. What a sorry affair. The club is being made to look very amateurish.

If nothing else, City can now act more decisively with regards what the manager wants.

I think Mancini couldn't care less, one way or the other.

Sure, he recognises him as a world class player, but he's too strong an influence to his own power base, no bond there.

We will never get to hear the true monetary details of a Tevez departure, anyway.

It will surely include a makeweight, and a few undisclosed.

We've had A, B and C targets, I expect us to start looking towards the top of the alphabet.

£250k a week off the wages and X amount incoming. A lot of bargaining power.

How quickly do you think the club will move for a replacement Tolm?

IMO this is going to be difficult. City can't afford to splash big until they know for sure they have a buyer for Tevez. We have FFPR to think about now. This whole saga may turn out to be a long drawn out process. Unless things in the background are further on than we realise and this breaking news is just a drama to keep us occupied for the time being lol.

but that wage will cut into our ffpr because any player contracted after 2010 counts??

Tolmie, will roberto want this sorted asap?? Is it now top of the agenda to get carlos out and a top drawer replacement is sooner rather than later? Future targets will surely be watching with interest with how we handle this and who we replace carlos with.

To me its sounds like a swap deal involving Sneijder (Carlos drops his wage demands) as this would put Nasri in doubt, then we go elsewhere for the Striker.

Fingers crossed Aguero
