Tevez to return (Merged)

Well I've slept on it now, had countless debates with myself and have come to the conclusion FORZA MANCINI, FORZA CITY

We have no control over this, let the powers that be make the decision and back them to the hilt

Can someone tell me what he has actually done wrong in this interview? He said exactly what needed saying - the truth about what happened in Munich. He has admitted things were not done correctly out in Germany and that he will return back to City to help us win the title. There was lots of good and positive things he said in the interview, non of which Sky, BBC, or any newspaper have picked up on. The reason for this, because Tevez repairing the damage he has done with Mancini is bad new for all the other Clubs. Many of which the Media support. Take Sky Sports News and Steve Curry this morning. They were slagging Tevez off for wearing an expensive watch and having a seat in First Class on his flight home. What should he have done? Built a raft and arrived in 3 months on the Wind and Tides alone??? They hate the fact that there is a chance of the Tevez/Mancini relationship being repaired and him playing for City again this season, and they will do anything they can do to make this not happen. Some of you need to wake up, smell the coffee and stop taking what the media take as gospel. The reason why so many of you are listening to the Media, is because you won't forgive Tevez at any price, therefor WANT him and Mancini to continue the fall out that has plagued them both for the last 5 months. The most important thing to me this season is to win the League. If that means a fit and fighting Tevez pulls on the shirt and helps us to achieve this goal, then so be it. Ive waited far to long for this, and nobody will ruin it. If Mancini can forgive gim then so should the fans. Granted i wasn't out in Munich and didnt spend £500 of my hard earned supporting the team, but i can assure you had i of been in Munich, i would forgive him if he wants to come back and play football, and more importantly win us the title. For the first time since this started, right now we need a fit and fighting Tevez for the first time, so lets back the manager, and Tevez if he picks him, and support the team for the remainder of the season.

If your wife had an affair would you trust her completely again even though she says she's done nothing wrong and has never apologised? ;-)

Imho, Tevez cannot be trusted ina City shirt again and we don't have the luxury of 'free' games for him to prove me wrong.

A 50% fit Tevez is better than a 100%fit Dzeko. It isn't even a gamble, it's just common sense!

Your common sense differs from mine so we'll have to agree to disagree on this.

There is no guarantee at all that Tevez will add anything positive - no gaurantee. I also don't get that so many Blues seem to think that without Tevez we won't win the league and with him we will - neither are guaranteed - and desperation seems like the worst reason to bring someone like Tevez back.

For me though, trust is the single biggest issue here and Tevez has demonstrated on numerous occasions that he can't be trusted by the Club, the manager or his team-mates.

We are doing very well without him thanks - don't risk the disruption.

I share as much dislike of Hermans actions as 99% of every City supporter however whatever happens our response should follow that of the club and specifically Mancini

We move into a phase of the season most city fans have never experienced and if Mancini feels that we need to play him then we as fans must back the manager regardless - yes it makes me extremely frustrated but a Tevez of 12 months ago will be a massive boost.

We need a more direct, attacking style of play with an increased tempo and i think we all know that and crucially Tevez was and could be what Rooney is for the rags.

Please dont htink i am making excuses for Herman there are none but i will support Bobby Manc whom has stood his ground and appears to have come through it with bith his pride and cruciallu his authority enhanced - Tevez has been forced to come back and has been shown for the person he is.

Lets be clear Tevez on the pitch give 101% and maybe if he does come back and play i cant see anything less lets support the manager and the club and if they think that he is ok to play we dont boo him we support the team.

Whatever happens he is gone in the summer and between now and then i and many City fans want to see some silver wear an if this ensure that so be it.

This 100%.

I can see rics point too.

He is the best striker we've had. I mean seriously:
65 appearances 43 goals in the league alone.

We need a player like Tevez for the run in,Tevez needs a shop window.. we boost our chances of winning sommat and getting decent money for him to fuck off in the summer..

No probs..

As usual full of his own self-importance.

I'd order him to train twice a day for the next couple of weeks, followed by a couple of reserves games and maybe the odd 2 minutes at the end of a Europa League game.

Time to move on blues.

This can only derail our season if we as fans let it, we have to support him whenever he pulls on the shirt.

He will be gone in the summer, and those who hate him (im 50/50) will be happy. In the meantime he is back and we have to get on with it.

I won't go as far as welcoming him back, but we have to put all this hatred on ice or it will transfer to the pitch. The situation is what it is, we won't change it, so lets just get on with it.
