Tevez to return (Merged)

For what its worth the sky four panel today think he has only returned for the money and to invoke the 10% games rule. They also reckon he won't kick a ball and that City will dodge the rule by saying he ain't fit given been away for so long. I agree with them for once.

I am beginning to side with that opinion to be honest but who knows

Tevez stated that he's still got 2 and half years left on his contract, what happens if he commits to that?

Then I guess the training ground needs a kennel and pooper scoopers. I'll eat my arm to the elbow if he plays for us again, it wont happen!

*crosses fingers*

IMO the 10% rule is irrelevant in this case, can't see it being considered whatsoever.

The twat has been away for 3 months or so, without permission, so is hardly available for selection.

As you say, he's made himself unavailable for selection this season but, if he's still around (god forbid), it could prove awkward next season.

My concern is that if we couldn't find a buyer at he right price in January, what will be different in the summer? 2 more years with the reserves and a few sub appearances may be the best he can hope for if he stays.

Maybe he's hoping he'll still be here but Mancini won't. Personally, I'd really hate that outcome.

He'll be sold in the summer, far easier to unload him then rather than January.

Only reason we couldn't get shut last summer was because we overpriced him, that won't be an issue this time round.

The best possible outcome in my opinion...

Tevez trains for a month with the reserves until fit
Gets his head down and works hard
Keeps his mouth shut and eventually trains with the first team
Comes on as a sub in just a few games as City continue winning
Scores a couple of important goals
Plays well so his value goes up
Is sold for at least £30 million in the summer
City win the league and maybe even the Europa League
Everyone is happy
See --> :)

you forgot the bit about tevez losing all his money in a property scam and ending up back in argentina the same slum shithole from whence he came

That's very hilarious mate

IF he plays I won't boo him because he will be wearing our shirt
IF he scores, I will cheer the goal, not the player who scored
IF he plays a blinder and is subbed, I will not applaud him and I will not applaud him if he comes on as a sub

Hopefully he will score and hopefully the ground will be rocking with fans singing MANCINI whoo oo, whoo o Mancini ........

Hopefully, we will then win the league and hopefully Tevez will then get lost and we can replace him with a better team player who puts OUR club and fans first. i.e. when we win the next cup, he won't chuck away the scarves given to him by OUR fans......

His fellow Argentinians have a great attitude - Zab and Kun show him up for what he is. All you Tevez lovers - he is a money grabbing egotistical arse who has only come back because he has been backed into a corner by our smart owners. He shows no respect for this club.

Although everything seems to be up in the air their is no way Tevez would fly all the way back to England, & the club would resume paying his wages if some sort of agreement hadn't of been reached between City & his representatives.

Tevez at some point will play we just have to hope he has a positive impact because I believe we play much better fluid football without him, Tevez is at his best in a City shirt when he plays up top on his own, in all the furore of him returning this seems to have been over looked.

We DID play better with him last season but we ARE playing better without him this season. The only reason we need him is because we need 4 strikers and his actions have deprived us of one striker thus the other players are having to cover for him.

The whole thing is slightly worrying because it is clear from Mancini's press-conference in Porto that Mancini is annoyed with him.
