It would be interesting to see what tevez did if city said it's psg or it's back here, take it or leave it.
Yep, that would be interesting to see.

Milan can go fuck themselves though.

Re: Tevez - Inter

If city accept the PSG bid for 25 mill - it

1. sets the price
2. puts the ball back in Tevez's court and theMilan clubs

Once they accept the price it won't go to auction as the others will know what they need to pay

Silly option to give him as he'll just return and put his slippers on.

We NEED To offload him, so it's in OUR interest to get the right deal.......i still wouldn't discount a return to South America if nothing suits

I just can't stand the thought of this **** still calling the shots & dictating where he goes.

We only need to offload Tevez if we are still paying him his salary, and we probably are not doing that, given that he's been AWOL for months we would be stupid to still pay his salary. Maybe we are paying him, but since paying him nothing for 2.5 years would offset the loss of our transfer fee, not to mention seriously harm Tevez' valuation on the market, I suspect that's the route we've taken in the hope that Kia is minded to find a serious buyer before his asset is reduced to nothing. Not sure how the PFA could stop us refusing to pay him during an unauthorised absence but I'm not an employment law specialist - I think he'd have to take City to tribunal to get his wages.

If we weren't still paying him then it would have been in the media, Graham Taylor would certainly have been a talking head for SKY to latch on to.

If the rumours are true and Tevez has got a sick note on the grounds of depression from an Argentinian doctor then City have got to be very careful, we can't even SAY anything derrogatory about him as that could affect his mental wellbeing and give him ammunition when he tries to get out of his contract. Plus there are strict UK employment guidelines, and Manchester City will have their own as well, on what you do when someone is on long term sick. If I were on long term sick in my current job I would receive 6 months full pay, followed by 6 months half pay before I was reduced to statutory sick pay (and potentially losing my job on grounds of ill health). If you assume City have the same rules, then Tevez would be on full pay until May. No doubt, however, seeing as the PFA protect their "players" in the way they do, it's probably different for footballers and clubs do not have the right to half the pay or other things.

#Tevez. Il Manchester City ha rifiutato l'offerta dell'Inter di un prestito con obbligo di riscato per 25 milioni. Moratti non pare rilanci

# Tevez. Manchester City refused the offer of a loan with the Inter obligation to risk 25 million. Moratti does not seem to raise

would this mean City want £25m not the £21m on offer from Inter

-- Mon Jan 16, 2012 4:05 pm --
