Please could someone kindly explain to me why

Why can't we cease his weekly salary when he is AWOL

WHY?

His Irresponsible Behaviour is not acceptable at all, and he should be punished like any other employee.

We can sack Him and loose any sell on fee.
Dependent on his contract about sickness we could possibly reduce his pay or put him on statatory sick pay as long as he is sending sick notes.

Thank you

His sickness should be questioned and investigated by the medical board in Manchester.

He should not be allowed to manipulate the rules and regulation by providing fake sickness report. This is just not acceptable and should not be tolerated by any means

Would fucking love them to think they can drag this on till the end of the window to try and screw us out of sorting a move for say, De Rossi, only for us to turn around in the final hour and say, "Sorry chaps, we can't get our man any more, to say thanks for you being an uncooperative wanker you can stay here till the summer, ta ra".

Great idea.

Then we can carry on paying him £200,000 a week for the next 6 months while he sits in the training ground.

That'll show him who's boss...

Or the club could find their balls and STOP paying him his wages.

"It's a complicated deal, but we are not willing to go crazy." Always clear how the PSG Diesse Leonardo has confirmed speaking on France Inter difficulties in arriving at an agreement with Tevez, after the meeting took place yesterday in Paris with dell'Apache agent, Kia Joorabchian: "We know that take a player like you have to make sacrifices. If we fail it will not be a problem. The team is competitive, this is the most important thing. First of all - as reported Fcinternews.it concludes Leonardo - we must think about protecting the club, buying only the players who believe in our project and I'm really interested in coming, "statements that are read by the French press as a sign of resignation from the club in Paris.

His sick notes no longer are relevant. If he can play for Milan he can play for us.

"We are simply half-way through negotiations with PSG". Hard to tell if Team Tevez are serious or if they're just humouring City by negotiating with PSG.

If he can kick signed footballs off a stage at a rock concert then he's not sick..

Re: Tevez - AC/Inter/PSG

I just cannot believe we are still paying him, not for a second. Regardless of all employment law and all this sickness shite, it's been shown that there is nothing wrong with him as he is fit enough to fly around the world having talks with various clubs and he has made himself unavailable to play/train/turn-up for us.

No law in any land is stupid enough to let someone get away with this, not even in the UK.

Depends if we've actually tried to discipline him yet. We may just be allowing him the opportunity to clock up misdemeanours so that we can come down on him like a ton of bricks when the moment suits us & he won't have a case to argue.

I too would choose this option.

But it's clear the club want a transfer fee for him otherwise this is what they would have done by now.

-- Sat Jan 21, 2012 6:30 pm --

The ball is in City's court. It's up to them how they wish to pursue this.

But the fact that Tevez has been being paid for 3 months while not available for work, and the club have failed to take action, surely gives all on here a clear steer on which way this is going...
