MOTD2

18 minutes 50 seconds in, then for the next 5 minutes or so.

Worth a thread of its own.
Robbie Savage is a grade A fucktard, I honestly have no idea why he's allowed on TV. He never manages to make any points at all, then is never able to give any reasoning at all behind his random assertions.

Excellent points Chris, but how on earth did you manage to listen to that screechy harridan without putting your foot through the tele?

She's a Liverpool fan, based in Fulham, and a regular on the Times podcast, something i usually download unless aforementioned Alyson is on
I thought she was being dry and sarcastic. If you watched the rest of the show she was Uber sarcastic. I liked her approach. For a Liverpool fan she gave grief to Brendan big time. She also felt Bale was just what united needed (another striker) etc

I didn't think she was being sarcastic, ironic, tongue in cheek or whatever. But even if she was, it was a dry reference to an attitude that she obviously thinks exists elsewhere. The point remains the same whether she holds the opinion herself or not.

He loved us when his buddy was here. As soon as Mancini was sacked he changed his tune. His hatred stems from that, he's too childish to get over the fact that we sacked his bff.
That clip made him look like a right twat. Keown's professional approach, calm and assured, showed Savage up for the petty little amateur that he is.

It's not just that he's bitter and dislikes us, it's that he seems mentally incapable of arguing properly. He just shouts over people, repeats himself and pretends that all the arguaments against his nonsense are irrelevant. He seems incpable of actually explaining how he's come to his opinion, the closest he came on that example was that "they've done loads of pieces on City's bad defending on MOTD". He's mentally deficient.

Ha ha laughable look at his body language arms folded etc total agenda with a real axe to grind when are we going to get past all this media hatred!!
I'm not sure if you can call that an agenda exactly, he's just decided before hand that he'll be controversial but comes away looking a pratt.
The nonsensical claim that everybody we play can put 3 or 4 goals past us if only they were more ruthless is laughable. Surely that should apply to everyone including us?

Re: so this agenda thing.

I was thinking of including Owen Hargreaves on this thread because some of his commentaries on BT are a joke, but then I decided he's just a really poor pundit. Sometimes he'll praise us or agree with a refs correct decision and then in the next instance he'll being talking out of his backside (or possibly watching an entirely different game on a monitor). I've come to the conclusion that he doesn't really look at an incident in any detail and just sees part of the big picture. The even more annoying thing about that is that his co-commentator never pulls him up on it.

It all kicked off the night before with this City caller on 606, it's around 44 min 38 secs.

She really had Savage on the ropes.

Re: so this agenda thing.

Trying to understand the protocol on the forum.

I note there is a Talk Sport thread that effectively duplicates this thread but specific to Talk Sport radio.
It resides on a different Board Index heading (ie not Bluemoon Forum).

If a thread is started about say Daily Mail or Sky TV where does it belong ?
