Strange the media never mention the rags spend but they are obsessed with what we have spent.
Maybe there is some sort of agenda after all.
No surely not, we were second on match of the day and one paper almost said some nice things about us. Really strange that there are still non agenda guys out there, but then again even with their eyes open they will not see an agenda with their heads stuck firmly in the sand,

A little over a month ago Chelsea were 8 points clear, already being called champions and hailed as one of the best premier league teams ever.

As it stands, they are literally neck and neck with us.

Now called me cynical but if the shoe was one the other foot and we'd lost an 8 point lead, I'd be very surprised if the headlines weren't "City Meltdown", "City Title Collapse", "City in freefall, No Leaders, No Passion", etc., etc.

As it is, not a peep from Englands esteemed football journalists.



Thats before if even start on the van gaal fawning and the complete absence of any mention of the amount of money they've spent. You don't see the likes of Sky doing team cost comparisons when they're involved.

Mourinho, Chelsea mananger has spoken of a campaign from the media against his team. Where's the vitriol or media response against such an outburst. Pelligrini, about a year ago mentioned his team were getting unjust, unfavourable decisions from the referees and he was vilified in the press. No agenda though.

there is no sand, they just choose to look away or post against the agenda in order to "stand out".

or of course they could be rags. better still they could just as easy be the media themselves posting in here just to protect their interest in an arguement they lost a long time ago.

The overriding one imo.

Like the majority,they will have grown up wanting to be associated with success,its human nature......subsequently,over the past 30/40 years or so,they will have attached themselves to the likes of Liverpool,Arsenal,the Rags,and,more recently,Chelsea.

It will take time,however,in a few years I suspect many,who will have done similar where we're concerned,will be in a position to influence and we will see the tide significantly turn,we will also have star players,who have migrated to commentary/puditry fighting our corner.

I agree but I don't think where emotional involvement is concerned that could ever be guaranteed.Even the 'best' pundits occasionally let their mask slip.
