Yep that's why Silva has to up his game or its curtains for him.
 
I feel it's too early to judge individuals at this stage other than on attitude and effort. Fitness and tactical understanding is still a few weeks away for many.

I did & I also watched him play last year & he was awful.

I love Dave & he can do many things with the ball but he needs to work much harder without the ball. Gundugan will be picked once fit & players will be picked around him it's as simple as that.

It's the same for all the attacking line inc Sterling, KDB & Sane. Not only have they got to do the business going forward but also chasing down. For me Nolito is key to our success he showed why he was bought Goals, Assists & working his knackers off in his own half £13m was a steal.

It's a squad and everyone will have a part to play including Silva, it's horses for courses with Pep and Silva will be picked ahead of Gundogen in certain games depending on who we're playing, in my humble opinion.

Although I can see your point and get it don't think it's that simple, no one will be starting every game, we want to win everything wich means around 60 games wich is simply too much at the very top level. The squad will be utilised correctly for a change.
I do however still think we are a little weak in central Midfield once the deadwood is shifted and hope we can throw the sink at Kroos because that would for me put 1 hand on the tittle.

What planet are you from. Silva was carrying an ankle injury again for most of last season but to say he was awful is just a stupid comment

He will play both roles.
 
Anyone know if we're looking for another striker? Hard to believe we'd let the window close with only Aguero, Nacho and maybe Bony.

We don't need one. We can adapt with loads of goals from our midfielders chipping in.
