Sounds like they're in a bit of a financial hole? Was never convinced of their business model and the fact they kept offering £1 subs etc.

No big shock really.... these web based subscription media forums are simply not sustainable long term. Too many of them all seeking the same advertisers and same subscribers. Saturation point in many cases especially as @blue b4 the moon says above, you can get it free from other sources.

by the way… $68 a month for The Informer (Christian magazine) sounds like a massive scam.

I subscribed the first year it came out. They insisted they were going to be different from the main stream sports media and at the beginning it seemed ok.However as the season wore on it turned itself into nothing more than a Liverpool fanzine. I sacked it after that, they couldn’t pay me to subscribe now

They are constantly offering heavily discounted subscriptions though, which presumably helped greatly with that. Think I paid £9.99 for a year.
