The battle for 3rd place

The FA/ BT/SKY & BBC engineering results...their next task--get City out of top 4

They have been doing a great job of that all season. Just off the top of my head I can think of NINE points officials have cheated us out of. Chelsea, Liverpool and Spurs at home and Arsenal away.

That United result is a bit of a bummer.

I had you down to beat them, but now I'm not so sure.

I hope Pep took notes. Lol

Chelsea were crap all over the field. We should have beaten them in both games we played them as well.

A derby is a one off and can go either way. A fit Kompany is key as he can cope with Rashfords pace if he plays, or big nose and bog brush's physicality if they play their usual long ball game. Of course we will probably get stiffed by the officials again anyway.

So the big question after the weekend is who is going to get shafted, us or the dippers? Because it's patently obvious the prem want the rags in one of those 4 slots. One of us are about to get royally shafted.

Who do you think? The famous YNWA special European nights under the Anfield lights Liverpool.......Or European anthem booing City......A no brainier!

Why didn't it happen last year?

Because any big club can take a hit for a year, but with the investment the rags made on Mourinho, Pogba and Ibra they desperately need to be in the top 4 this season.

Of course they do, a lot of their commercial agreements will reduce on the basis of no champions league for more than two consecutive years....

That is probably true, however, if everytime they looked like starting to put 2 passes together play is broken up by Maddley or every 'coming together' goes the raggy way they've not got much chance to change it round.

Ultimately the dye was cast with the 'handball' being missed for the first goal. They were fucked from then on no matter what they did.
That's true but chelsea were also breaking up the flow of play. That cnut costa could have been off because of his behaviour. Plus it didn't help that they couldn't string more than two passes together. Rags weren't much better but they pressed well enough and Rashford played his best game since last season
