The battle for 4th place

Five more wins will seal it for us , yesterday was a good start but they were wide open and one eye on the beach

A Pulis shaped bus next up , as ever an early goal will settle the nerves and therefore the three points

We desperately need Spurs to win next week , not only for the obvious but also to make sure Leicester need to go to old Trafford and get something.

Next two games will be key , we've both got an easy and tough game , whoever takes the most points will seal fourth I reckon ....

It's unbelievable how we have managed to get ourselves into this position. Five out of five at the start of the season to be scratching around for 4th place 25 games later.

We need to take the bull by the horns now and make sure that we are not relying on other sides.

Hey listen anybody can come across all 10 men sitting behind a computer, a lot of my posts are very tongue in cheek but alas humour gets lost in posts. I post as I speak, I have a potty mouth and I'm not ashamed of it, I'm a working class fella in love with a working class sport. But I'm far from aggressive mate, am quite placid and laid back in the flesh.
I know humour doesn't come across great in words, anyway back to the thread

No-one cares mate, but I'd advise not coming on here picking on fellow City fans just for having a different opinion. I come on here to read about City, not you.

In a normal season I wouldn't be worried

The team have lost my trust and only a few good wins on bounce will get it back , Jesus two wins back to back would be a start ...

I want this season over with, lots to look forward to in the next one , failing to get fourth would seriously dampen that optimism

Jeez, didn't realise the rags were 1 point behind us on the same amount of games.

Shit just got real
Same here. For some reason I don't think I've properly looked at the league table since the Spurs defeat. Yep, only one point ahead of a shite, boring team.

You see you're sticking your nose in when it isn't needed. Picking on city fans for having a different opinion? You need to read the posts correctly, you've rushed in swinging your handbag and got everything tits up. I'm questioning the fact that he's a liar saying he's 68 yet posting like an 18 year old. And the last line of your post is a whopper. You come on here to read about City not me but you respond to my post. Comedy gold.

I think it's exciting and how funny would it be if we beat them lot into the top 4? It'd certainly hurt them more than us. They think they're still as good as they was about 10 years ago. More pressure on the rags in my opinion.
I don't see it that way. All the Filth I work with were absolutely resigned to Europa League about a month or two ago, now they have hope, and they see it as a huge achievement in being only one point behind us. I've not spoken to one of them who actually thinks they are as good as they were 10 years ago, they're just giddy about getting top 4 and also quite giddy about the youngsters coming through (regardless of the reason for that). I actually agree with them. If they beat us to 4th I think it would be a huge achievement for them, and absolute shame on us.
