Gypsy and Romany travellers are a recognised ethnic group. The poster used a well known term for insulting that ethnic group. I confine that stuff to the dark ages. It seems like you do not .

I believe in calling out racism as I find it unacceptable. Making one mention of that is not bleating as you put it. Those who turn a blind are are equally culpable in my eyes

If the gypsy himself is happy for everyone to call him that, and he is happy to call himself that, why do you need to be involved? There's always someone taking offence on behalf of someone else. I think he is big enough to fight his own battles and people should really get a life.

I think sometimes people blur the lines between Tyson Fury the person and Tyson Fury the boxer. Outside the ring hes a total wanker with some abhorrent opinions, but inside it hes absolutely ridiculous. Ive seen people in here call him a plodder, ffs hes 6foot9 and dances round the ring better than some middleweights who are you getting him mixed up with?

For the record I think the Fury who beat Klitschko boxes Joshuas head off, but Joshua has garnered a fanbase who are absolutely outraged everytime someone suggests their man isnt the best heavyweight the planets ever seen. I like both (as boxers) and think it would be a great fight because whilst Fury would outbox him, Joshua would always have that equalising power if Tyson gets lazy with his defence.
