“He was out before he hit the canvas...”
Im pretty sure Don won't fancy a straightener mate ;).
Hagler was my favourite Boxer of them all.Hagler is cut! Hagler is cut! 3 greatest rounds of boxing ever seen.
That was a golden era in boxing......
Hopefully they fight and we will see because usyk and his management team don’t shy away from anyone so if Tyson wants the fight if will happen .He was never a humble cruiserweight for starters, the guy has 400 amateur fights, Olympic, European and world gold medals... those who are a little more than armchair fans could of predicted it blindfolded... what separates people like him from the AJs of this world is bonafide experience, which brings wisdom, all AJ had to do was balloon up at the 18 stone mark yet dictated the strategy because of his ego, metal mickey had more movement...
And you’ll never live down the fury prediction but we’ll leave it there!
what did he do after the fight ?
I've never rated AJ and that is not revisionism, I just think he's been hugely overrated for ages.Didn’t we say the same about Joshua against usyk
I remember Hagler ripping Alan Minter to shreds at Wembley Arena, and bottles and cans being thrown into the ring by the the pro-Minter crowd. Disgraceful scenes...Thank you, Jim!
Hagler-Hearns 1st min > Fury-Wilder trilogy. I even found myself applauding the first and second rounds! Again!
Not even an argument to be had.
I think I mentioned Hagler's loss to Hearns earlier, I meant it as to Ray Leonard, so apologies, my mistake on that.
