The Boxing thread

He was never a humble cruiserweight for starters, the guy has 400 amateur fights, Olympic, European and world gold medals... those who are a little more than armchair fans could of predicted it blindfolded... what separates people like him from the AJs of this world is bonafide experience, which brings wisdom, all AJ had to do was balloon up at the 18 stone mark yet dictated the strategy because of his ego, metal mickey had more movement...

And you’ll never live down the fury prediction but we’ll leave it there!
Hopefully they fight and we will see because usyk and his management team don’t shy away from anyone so if Tyson wants the fight if will happen .

Thank you, Jim!

Hagler-Hearns 1st min > Fury-Wilder trilogy. I even found myself applauding the first and second rounds! Again!

Not even an argument to be had.

I think I mentioned Hagler's loss to Hearns earlier, I meant it as to Ray Leonard, so apologies, my mistake on that.
I remember Hagler ripping Alan Minter to shreds at Wembley Arena, and bottles and cans being thrown into the ring by the the pro-Minter crowd. Disgraceful scenes...

Hagler was an awesome boxer.
