The Boxing thread

Oh and no one who has ever entered a ring for a pro fight is a shithouse.
It takes guts, huge guts

It’s stupid to even contemplate the idea that someone who fights for a living is a shithouse. Anyone who steps into a ring or cage has a different mentality to most people.

However, there is a difference between a boxing/martial artist mentality and a fighters mentality. Both of which have their pros and cons.

This is sad to see, but in a way nice to see the human emotional side to him because with pugilists it’s often all bravado and machismo and seeing how much it all means to him is a good thing.

I’d go as far to say last night was arguably Joshua’s best performance in his career. He was better than the first fight and wasn’t disgraced against a superb boxer. He should take heart from that and go into a fight with Wilder next year with confidence. Then if he wins that and Fury beats Usyk, maybe finish with a shot at Fury. Even if he loses, which he likely would, at least they’ve all had a shot at each other then.

Good fight and both fighters deserve credit but usyk is elite and every tine Joshua started to get momentum usyk adapted to him . Congrats Joshua for having a good round 9 his best round in 24 but not good enough . As for all your his fury will do this and do that well why don’t we see because usyk has called him out so hopefully fury wants this fight because usyk is no wilder or whyte is this would be fury’s hardest fight by a country mile .

There's a real tangible difference to calling someone 'not good enough' to calling them a 'shithouse'.

There are some real fat fuckers/ shitty people in real life on here making crappy comments.

That's my issue.
Anyone calling someone a shithouse who has fought at any level is just emotional. You can't step into a ring, knowing the other guy is trying his hardest to smash you in the face and be a shithouse. Laughable. Personally, I don't care for Joshua, but a shithouse he certainly isn't.

2 rants in the same day by 2 different sportsmen (AJ & Raz) who realise they have slipped from the top table.
Both believe they are better than they actually are but the reality of truth must eat away.
Joshua won 3 rounds in my eyes and Eddie Hearn's judge created that stupid outburst at the end, by having Joshua think it was close.
Hearn too spoke afterwards that Joshua only got beat by a split decision.
Do me a favour.
The lies in boxing really don't do the sport any good and Hearn is one of the biggest liar's /wankers iout there.

I see Hearn says the reaction afterwards was AJ's frustration towards the governing bodies who've charged AJ a lot of money and put a lot of mandatories Infront of him.

Also said that AJ not interested in fighting for belts anymore and it's only for the enjoyment.

I agree . I’m not a fan of Joshua but tonight I warmed to him and thought he did well but he is not on usyk level but he will cone again and there is some good fights out there for him .

Alot of people on here seem to forget that this is a forum and people have opinions whether right or not but it’s an opinion and we are all allowed to have them .
