Age catches up with offensive boxer alot more than a defensive one.
Pac wasn't robbed in the slightest, money won fair and square but it was disappointing not seeing him fight 2009 prime Pac. It is at least 50-50 for me who ends up victorious.
Money is slowing down now compared to 5 years ago. People will slate his record but he has boxed the fighters put in front of him and won all. No one likes his style in the US.
Nah, not just in the US. Many people around the world hates his style of boxing.
Floyd has even said it himself when he was being criticized; people saying he was boring to watch and fans wanted him to be more aggressive.
"The less you get hit in the sport, the longer you last,"
While that is his winning formula, it nevertheless annoys people like mad and is very unpopular with fans, compared to a boxer who takes a chance to initiate the of fence and is aggressive. Just like how Chelsea is so unpopular and boring with their style of football. People will always like the more adventurous and entertaining side with attractive style.
Also, as I said before both have slowed down, but Pac gets the worst end of it as an aggressive boxer than mayweather a defensive boxer. I don't care about the shoulder injury. I am saying it will be great if we saw a prime 2009 Pac fight mayweather, when his skills, speed and power as an aggressive boxer wasn't as diminished. In my view the way mayweather cherry picks his opponents to fight when they are not in their prime will always be a stain in his record. My 2 cents
Money in the lighter weights was more aggressive as he had the power to be more aggressive while he moved up the weights sadly his power hasnt moved up the weights it never does and very rare if it does. Money was sparking out fighters as a Super Featherweight but once he moved up weight the power went but the skills was always there to win the fights.
Cherry picking fights and not fighting a fighter in there prime is a throw away statement he has boxed fighters in there prime and beaten them. Saul Alvarez was KOing people and Money took him on and won the fight easy. When Ricky Hatton boxed Money he was in his prime too. Then you look at his earlier fights against Diego Corrales. Then you had the 2 close Castillo fights. Also his fights with Gati , Judah , Baldomir , De La Hoya , Mosley , Cotto and Marquez none of them would of been easy fights all former World Champions. Yes he has had some easy cherry picked fights but what boxer doesnt??
