The Conservative Party

They want conflict, it’s quite clear.

Having read a few of the review body’s reports, it is easy to see that they are heavily influenced by government, so not really independent.

Any sensible person knowing the way this government operates will have known that undue influence will have been brought upon the review body in their remit, to ensure they got the decisions that they wanted.

Tory logic:

Rich people need to be given 'incentives' so they will work harder/perform better.

Poor people need to have their income squeezed so they will work harder/perform better.

A typical Tory has a pessimistic view of human nature. They believe people will only work hard if they have no choice, and are desperate for any old job at any old wage. However, this does not apply to the rich, who need to be cosseted, as they are the 'wealth creators'. Obviously, these rich folk would just sit around unless given squillions.

They might not have passports but older Tory voters will have voter ID that the Tories will deny to younger voters. It's gerrymandering by age.

"Clearly worried that older voters could be disenfranchised (the elderly are less likely to have passports or driving licences), the rules were rightly amended to allow bus passes, travel cards and Oyster 60+ cards. Yet no similar travel cards or Oyster cards will be allowed for young people."

(And of course you only get an Oyster card in London.)
I have an Oyster card and have never lived further south than Macclesfield.

New threat to sunak with a group formed of what appears to be Defeffel loyalists led by pr Patel and lord cruddas who appears to be bleating on about how worried he is by the erosion of democracy in the party.
That‘s right- cruddas - a man who has paid millions into the Tory party and bought himself a seat in the lords.
He‘s worried about democracy………in the Tory party.
All completely laughable, and yet another split in the ranks of lunatics, buffoons and fools who make up this undisciplined rabble.

Sounds like the thoughts of Rees-Mogg

Your guide to not splitting the anti Tory vote

Win as one combined vote in my constituency less than 40%. What a fucking joke of an electoral system.
