The Conservative Party

Been listening to the radio all day and have come to the conclusion that its time for me to fess up as one of the rabble that is bringing this country to its knees.

Why? You say.

Well one of the main topics of discussion on the radio today is the disaster that is the UK workforce. Obvs the Govts report steers well clear of anything being down to Brexit and concludes a major driver is people retiring. So folks like me who worked for 42 years and contributed to a pension fund all along ( a very Tory concept ) and bought my home with a mortgage which I have paid off ( a very Tory thing too ) so as a result I am at a point where I have never been so cash and asset rich. Also - the pensions in question - pay me monthly so at coming up to 62 I have no reason to work and no desire to work. People like Baroness Altman were asking why there are people like me and why would I not wish to access the "opportunity " and with it gain an income. ( such as the one my pension gives me )

Sorry but I am retracting my confession because in hindsight it was them what broke the fucker and they have to fix it.
Don’t forget, that‘s 42 years of you underperforming and underproducing. You shouldn‘t have been allowed to retire and should continue to pay those extra taxes into the treasury as that’s why they cannot give nurses a decent living wage. In fact, it was selfish people like you that forced us into taking the Brexit vote because we needed to get high productivity and high wages, which is your fault that it’s failed because of said lack of productivity.

Lazy retirees, the scourge of the Tory party.

Go and make that speech down at the Conservative club - you'll be pelted to death with Werthers lol

Couldn't agree more. We have essentially seen a total failure of our political structure. Sunak's comments are aimed at his own party members and are inflaming the public crisis instead trying to resolve it. But, like Truss, he was not voted in by the public. He is not a statesman and is unfit to lead the country. The electoral system gives power to two main parties with not enough public accountability. This government has collapsed but is being allowed to limp on (because of its majority) while it conducts its own internal warfare. The country is bleeding to death.
If we don't modernise our politics quickly and adopt a fairer sysyem we could see civil disorder on a scale we have never seen. There are 50 million people outside the South East who have been left behind while the political classes (of all parties) have lined their pockets for decades.
I think it boils down to politicians without conviction, who will change their thoughts with the odds of winning. They eventually get found out and the perception of the public is one of mistrust. The select committee meetings have been perfect, with politicians repeatedly avoiding answering or being interrogated until their heads fall off. Suella was recently forced to admit that there are no safe and legal routes of passage for asylum seekers, therefore outing herself as a complete liar, and an incompetent Home Secretary.

It’s encouraging that you are finally admitting your role in ruining the country.

Last time I went in a Conny club I was unlucky enough to sit in an unmarked seat that had been sat in by Albert who had passed away 2 generations ago. They weren’t amused and banned me from the backgammon league that I didn’t even want to be in.

I made up with Albert though, a pint of Boddies and plucked pheasant were whisked away into the afterlife as I paid my penance.

Last time I went in one was Middy Junction in the 80's for a game of snooker. Signed in by my mate who was a member I had a couple of pints of JWL - very nice as it should have been as the brewery was just over the road.

I went for a slash and on the way in I saw that those bleach blocks that they lob in the urinals had been knocked or had fallen off the window sill and were on the floor. So being a guest I thought the good thing to do was pick them up and put them back.

Then I had a slash and suddenly my knob was on fire - whatever was in that block was very caustic so I dropped my kecks and shuffled across the loo to wash my hands and cock in the sink............. That was when I was interrupted by a Committee member coming in who thought I was pissing in the sink and I was ejected ha ha ha
