Just seen Schapps on Sky News who was made to look a right twat. Asked about the oil and gas issue, refused to give figures on what we actually use and what gets distributed around the world. Very spikey throughout and very much following the lead of Sunak in that radio interview.

They don’t like it now that there lies and bluster are exposed.

The government could have already introduced emergency legislation to force North Sea producers to sell to the domestic market below market prices but instead decided to use taxpayers money to subsidise the retail cost, so there’s no way that extra gas or oil from the North Sea will have any impact on prices paid by consumers. It will just help the producers be more profitable. To pretend otherwise is simply disinformation.
