The state will no longer provide access to free food or shelter while single men have their asylum applications processed, she said.

Belgium is one of the countries through which illegal migrants pass before attempting to cross the Channel to the UK."

How are they going to do this, what will the EU say?

You seem obsessed with the Labour Party

They are not in government and haven’t been for 13 years. If and when they take power they will be judged on what they do.

In the meantime we have the worst government in my longish lifetime who are fucking up everything they touch but that appears to be okay with you.

I would suggest you set aside your tribal devotion to the Tory party and adopt a critical approach to how our country is being governed.

I literally said just 50 mins ago: "It is still wrong that 2 weeks before term starts Huddersfield students have to find somewhere else to live because of the governments failure to sort out the migrant crisis...."

I think they are blinkin hopeless too, but mainly because they have not been 'Tory' enough and it is unlikely that Labour are going to change that! (hence my obsession with Labour, perhaps).

The Conservative government has failed to sort out a migrant crisis of their own making and, I'm presuming, offering a substantial financial package to the private landlord who then decides to take them up on it at the expense of students.

That seems pretty Tory to me, the only way it would be more Tory would be if the Landlord was a Tory Peer and the asylum seekers housed there were found to be living in conditions unfit for human habitation.

I think any Labour supporter, finds what is happening to be disgusting and another sign of how incompetent the Tory Party is, highlighting the need for a change of government.
