The Conservative Party

Ah ok then .... but the UK seems to heavily reliant on the USA.

Nuclear targeting

British warheads can be integrated into American nuclear war plans and there is a UK Liaison Cell at the headquarters of U.S. Strategic Command (STRATCOM) responsible for American plans. America also supplies important aspects of nuclear targeting data to UK submarines and the Royal Navy uses American software for target planning and data processing. American officers are stationed at the Permanent Joint Headquarters at Northwood from where UK submarine operations are controlled in order to coordinate British and American Trident submarine operations. Under the Polaris Sales Agreement UK nuclear forces are formally “committed to NATO and targeted in accordance with Alliance policy and strategic concepts under plans made by the Supreme Allied Command Europe (SACEUR)”. NATOs’ Nuclear Planning System is linked to STRATCOM and probably MOD and is dominated by U.S. nuclear planning.

Not sure why you’ve posted this.
Everybody knows we work closely and coordinate with the Americans.
It doesn’t change the fact that we have an operationally independent nuclear deterrent that ultimately is controlled by the UK. It is highly unlikely that we would not coordinate with the US in their deployment however that doesn’t mean we are operationally reliant on them and can’t make our own decisions.

I assume Onward reside on Tufton Street. More Tory bollocks supported by Mordaunt - I assume this "army " will be mobilized by means of a suitable Tory donor and wear sponsored high viz vests as a uniform.

What a crock of shit.

Could have spent that money on the schools that are literally crumbling thanks to a 50% cut in funding. Tory bastards.

I can foresee some complaints to the charity commission that this is "political", but if Tufton St Tory think tanks can be charities....

Social media is reporting that the RSPB apology was partly driven by one of their trustees, and he is coincidentally a Policy Exchange wonk.

And where are Policy Exchange based? Tufton St.

Not quite

They are positioned 3 minutes away, and 1 minute from the IEA.

To be fair, I can see Rory Stewart is involved and one of their key policies is Net Zero so they're not Tufton/IEA style nutjobs, just your old fashioned centre right conservative think tank.

So basically the same thing. There's a fag paper between those groups of nutters.

It's a daft top-down idea detached from reality. The fuckwit couldn't even go outside of Westminster to film that video, so they'll never attract any interest and this rehashed bollocks will disappear like a fart in the wind.
