The Conservative Party

Good night Tory Brexit boy.

I can only comfort myself in the fact that like millions of other Labour voters in this country would also be Tory boys to you because they are just not left wing enough.

They are as divided as ever in this mornings TV interviews - they put themselves through the mangle in the public spotlight for jack shit - they call Labour for doing that and cannot see the irony.

^^ and again on BBC this morning. The contrast between him and any of the current lot is absolutely vast...think he's nailed it.

Biggest miscalculation made by Mayday was right at the outset when she assumed office. There were many Labour Leave seats. Mayday and the Tories could have taken the decision to involve them in the process of leaving, to keep the concept non-party and win kudos and who knows more voters in the process.

However she chose to make it exclusively Tory - she could see massive gains and huge personal glory for a Tory party who triumphantly led the UK into the promised land as she saw it.

We ended up where we were last night - so she reaped what she had sown and has to take the blame.

Im intrigued to find out how she can involve leave Labour seats when the labour party itself is ignoring them right now with their out of the EU but in a SM and CU fudge?

Despite you wanting to make this a Tory thing, it just isn't and never has been and never will be either.

Who right now is speaking for those Labour voters who voted to leave? Who?

What parties do in opposition and what they do in office is the acid test on fitness to govern.

Parties can fuck around all they like in opposition, it does not impact on the daily lives of people, but they have to put that aside once in government, running a government and running a party are two very distinct things.

The Tories have shown themselves unfit to govern, forget the political differences between the two main parties, that's irrelevant. Corbyn's real anger yesterday at PMQs was reserved for his attack on May for her contempt of Parliament and her refusal to bring her Brexit proposal to the House.

What little authority this government has left, exists solely because a small group clustered around May, are doing everything they can to ensure the legislature cannot function.

Issue with that train of thought is many see them fuck around, doing nothing and then wont vote for them.

Tense is everything dear boy - you keep going on about now - my post was harking back to the position two years ago.

2 years ago who was speaking for the labour leave voters?

You know the answer, lets see if you can manage to say it?

Labour Leave voters have Labour Leave - they had it since before the referendum, Stringer and Hoey led it at that time. They got £50k funding off a Tory donor to effectively mount their campaign. A number of MP's in Leave seats have constantly spoken out to represent their constituents when interviewed - they just didn't support the May because she had ignored them. Sorry if I have pointed out a deficiency in your research. approach to Brexit

Don't think they could have involved Labour leave seats without alienating Tory remain ones so it's all moot.

Hang on, Corbyn said they would respect the result of the referendum.

They said the same thing at the 2017 GE.

Stringer and Hoey are not relevant other than to their constituents.

Corbyn and his cabinet are and they have reneged so far on the promises they gave and dont harp on about not being in power, principles are not banned when sitting in opposition.

Who is speaking for Labour leave voters?

No one is, there, i helped you as you cant admit it and come the next GE they will remember it as well.

Exactly its a ridiculous thing to even come out with by the OP.
Now doing things on a cross party basis from the start and listening to people on all sides instead of letting red lines be drawn all over the place...

Its not our system of government so its a mute point.

Not dismissing it going forwards though as the last 2 years has shown none of them are fit to run the country solely.
