I think it's an age thing, my grandad was a lift engineer, from what I remember, his values were working class, socialist. He died in 1984 aged 84, he went exactly the same.

I personally am affronted that I can find no shops around my locality that are able to serve me in native Old Norse. All this Normanic sounding chatter, everybody’s at it these days. Feels like a lifetime ago I could find good auld Wodin-folk to have a chat with on the wagon home.

Having spent my formative 30 years in Manchester and subsequently living in Dorset and now North Yorkshire when I heard a Geordie say "why aye man" in the shops today I immediately called foe a war on the Tyne/Wear region as I was so scared....................

Everybody ever in the town centre agrees totally with me.

Also , disturbing reports of a small brown man zooming around the country in his private jet or a helicopter, who seems absolutely determined not to integrate with us ordinary folk.
