The Derby Post Match Thread

Pellers and Txiki need to go ASAP.

Get Mancini back in. Shouldn't have gone in the first place. No coincidence players who had issues with him are the ones now who obviously don't give a shit.

Should have back the manager not a select group of players.

Ah well...

All the recent City "fans" who only know success will fuck off, leaving the true supporters to carry on as we have for decades.

The club building will continue... we will experience joy and happiness as well as disappointment and grief... just as always.

That's football.

We had no real fight or desire to really get back into the game after their second.Very disappointed but I'm sure we will address the obvious shortcomings over the summer.

Players have no pride or respect for Manchester City. They arnt motivated anymore. Players like Yaya do not want to be here and today felt like playing with 10 players. When you have a passenger sitting in the middle of park it makes it easy to control the game. Truly shocking performance from everyone. Not sure where the club goes from here because we've finally hit that stage we were all dreading.

They hung the manager out to dry throughout that game.

Laughable those who demanded a five in midfield was the way to go.

We played a four winning two titles.

It's all about desire and this team has nothing close to it.

Which in a derby game, is the most unforgivable of all.

City have a stench of finality around this whole project on the pitch.

Not a top player out there today, watching that, who would think why not City?

As for Toure, I have no words.

I disagree that was a five man midfield. silva was playing just behind aguero (exactly the same position aguero has been playing behind dzeko).
it was still a two man midfield of fern and yaya which is madness. yaya was a disgrace today but his performance in that set up was entirely predictable.
Agreed we were still two in the middle and out played

They should have been highlighting and discussing the elbow because it's not the first time, it's not even the second or third, that **** does this about 5 times a fucking game and nothing is ever said.

Edited for accuracy.

Neville and the Sky chaps quite right about our attitude after the 2nd goal....shocking really, watching them all ambling back to the half way line, just 2 down with 5 minutes to go against 10 men....not one of them ran back looking to get the game started again..says it all

Yes there was no urgency to even try and get the ball into the box. Nasri and Yaya passed it to one another for a couple of minutes but overall the lack of will to win was disgusting. As you said the last few minutes epitomised the lack of effort and desire from these pampered footballers, who earn more in a week than most of us do in a year.

Re: Offside

Desire and hunger would have won the day whatever happened. It's lucky we didn't go down to ten men and that they took their foot off the gas because it could have been worse.

We surrendered and that is totally unacceptable. A lot of these players are finished at our club.

The owner must be fucking furious with this shit.

We have gone down quicker than the titanic in the last few weeks.
