The end of Dzeko

I think you are overrating Tevez. He is behind Aguero for me in world football. Not that that makes hims bad!!
For me, a fit Tevez (and in form) is a better player than Aguero.

He is more complete. Tevez has better movement, and is a better passer as well. When Tevez is fit, we see him successfully dribble in ways Kun rarely does. Granted, they're different sort of strikers though.
I think they're very similar; small, strong, hammer of a right foot.

Tevez's vision (when he uses it) is far superior to Aguero, his ability to harass and challenge for ariel/second ball's is also much better. They can both be quite wasteful, but i'd probably say Tevez utilises his chance/goal ratio more than Aguero.

It's a shame because at one point i really wanted to finish the season without Tevez, now i think if only we'd had him all season, we'd have had a good deal more points.
Tevez has good vision to pick passes out because he's actually an attacking mid that's been moulded into a false 9 striker.

They're similar in physique but I think they play really differently. Tevez can drop off and play in between the lines because not only can he carry the ball, he can pass as well. Tevez is more unpredictable as well...defenders can never be sure when he will dribble, pass, or shoot.

Kun is more of a "put me through" sort of striker which is different. Not saying Kun is not good at dropping off , but Tevez is just much better at that.

Aguero is a better goal scorer. Tevez can play deep.

These two are the best two forwards in the Premiership. Tevez was a huge loss to us and we're just beginning to remember what a player he is

hate to say it but hopefully dzeko and mario out with cavani in and guidetti back and that would be a quality strike force!!!

Aguero is a good finisher. Put him in the box, and he can score, but Tevez seems to score those scrappy goals that no one else on the team seems to. Whether its by bullying his way into the box, harrasing a defender to pick up a loose ball, or scoring deflected goals, Tevez just gets it done his way (and has for several years now).

very true...there are not many of his type...to bad he's been pretty badly advised (or allowed himself to be pulled around by Kia)

as for Dzeko...since the opening of his twitter account there have not been too many insults...well from the rags as usual, but not from the blue contingent...even some LFC and chelsea fans are cheering him on...

and since asmir begovic supports him, stokies are calling him over to the brittania :)

anyway, I hope he doesn't go as he has a point to prove still...and as Marvin said, play him in the box, facing the goal, attack with pace and he'll at the end of the most crosses and passes...

I don't know whether Dzeko will stay or go in summer, but we do need wingers, everybody notice the lack of width in our tactics. Next year we need to have a plan B for teams that pack the midfield. Dzeko would be useful in a team where wingers play on "right" side (not like AJ always cutting from wing). But at the moment he is no.4 choice, so if he wants to leave I say that is understandable.

Nice guys finish last, so no point discussing whether Edin is likable, Tevez detestable, Mario undependable, Kun perfect... so I'll focus on playing ability.

In form Tevez is among top 10 players in the world. On anyone's list.
Dzeko will never be in top 10. Nor will Balotelli. Aguero is on the right trajectory and it may take him another two years like this one to reach that rarefied stratosphere.

Based on that reasoning, Tevez is first choice striker and Aguero second. Love Mancini has for Balo makes him third choice. That leaves Dzeko on the bench.

I don't know what his ambitions in life are, but I wouldn't want to sit on the bench. He may get less money on another team, but if it means playing competitive football he'd probably take it.

All that said, club would keep him if he fit Mancini's system. He does not and will be gone this summer.

That is not end of the world as we know it! It's what's best for him and the club.
Hopefully he has a chance to celebrate winning the PL title with the team before he leaves.

Right, go on Sir ........."will I get coffee soon?

Dec 21, 2010 - 20 years-old Balotelli wins Golden Boy trophy.
Dec 21, 2009 - 19 years-old finished fourth.
Dec 21, 2008 - 18 years-old finished sixth .

Ever since joining City, Balotelli is harshly treated. the usual, mass propaganda.
the brainwashing media techniques. it's really tough for 21yo to take all that crap

Mario loves the club and want to stay, he need your love & support

Fellow Blues, don't be easily fooled by the brainwashing mind melting media, mass propaganda..... the article below 100% spot on........ please read

excellent, well written and honest piece from LFC fan: Jaimie Kanwar (top bloke)

We'll buy some width in the summer, Dzeko will stay.

he'll be a 15-20 goals a season player.

You just described Spurs, run down the wings and aim for the head of the big bloke in the box.

What use would wingers be to short players like Aguero, Tevez, Nasri and Silva.

Personally I'd rather keep the style that has shown us some of the best City performances we've ever seen at the start of the season. As far as I see it the only player who hasn't adapted to our current system is Dzeko, he's too clumsy to keep up with the quick, short passing of the rest of the team.
He'd be great at Spurs but I can't see us changing our whole system just to suit 1 player.
system?City has a system?
Why change a system that gives the result for the system in 10 games away from the 5 goals in which all the players out of form?
Does anyone know who the City system?
Does anyone, including Mancini knows best 11 4 match before the end?
