The End of on Street Parking within walking distance of the Etihad

Been parking on/near Riverpark Rd for years now, all free parking taken away in the last few months in a 'residential' zone... I live in a location where driving in is the only reasonable method of transport for games (especially midweek ones) No clue what others like myself are supposed to do except for cave in and purchase on campus parking for an additional £10 a game every game just to guarantee a spot!

Well the match day experience email says fuck all about the parking issues.

Sadly the club don't give a fuck about us.
I have just come on ask this. So nothing announced from the club, and thousands of people will turn up, unaware that they can't park anywhere near to where they have parked for the last 20 years. Surely they need to put something out?

Fucking joke from the City Council. And I’d like to think our club had made serious representations about these restrictions, but they won’t have done. Looking forward to all the extra trams (lol)
This has to be an anti City move by the rag Council. Like I've posted before, this happened at Maine Road years ago when they restricted ground capacity to 40,000. This apparently was due to traffic congestion around the stadium, what a load of bollox.
These parking restrictions make no sense whatsoever, it's not as though they are in a residential area. Riverpark Road now has double yellow down one side and permit holders down the other. Same with Briscoe Lane, where there's no double yellow they've now added permit holder parking there too.
That's from the bridge to Riverpark Road.

I suppose we could watch the match for 60 mins, I suppose some do, late comers early leavers.

I paid to park at the campus for the Sheff Utd game, and it was a nightmare getting out of the car park at the end. No wonder people leave early!

Sorry if already covered but anyone know whether Coatbridge Street near Clayton Conservative club has come into play yet?

And Burnley Fans

Can’t await to walk an extra mile in the 90% chance of rain which is forecast tomorrow night before the game!

Its highly unlikely that the on campus parking provision would have the capacity to handle the additional demand, once the new residents scheme becomes fully active, there could be literally thousands of drivers searching for a parking spot for their vehicle.

Been working in the area this week, all the signs I have seen have now been uncovered , I have been along Clayton Lane and Croft St, up some of Ashton New Road (havent been all the way up). I cant remember what used to be on Viaduct St area but they are up there as well. Behind Holt Town tram stop .

If City don't announce anything, its going to be carnage tomorrow, its a 7.30 KO as well which really wont help.

Not saying it is being extended for a mile.
No it doesn’t state that…
But I was replying to the post stating the email says ‘fuck all about the parking issues’. It clearly does mention the parking issues. I’ll bet the club admin know as much detail as us :-(

Usually park on ten acres lane exactly 1 mile from stadium.
Noticed last game it's all now double yellow lines.
Can't believe I'm saying this as a season ticket holder for more than 30 years but not going to bother tomorrow night especially with 7.30 ko.
I'm not prepared to do a 120 mile round trip and not being able to park easily.
I also bring my two lads also season ticket holders & yet again can't believe I'm saying it but thinking of not renewing tickets next season
