Do you think we would of won the league if he had played the last 7 league matches?
Yes.
Your entitled to your opinion mate
I honestly think we wouldn't have.
Which games do you think we would have been unable to win with him in the team and available? (and he was unavailable for 3 games, not 7)

Without him we'd have never won the title. He is a blue in all the awkward ways many of us are. Time to put the pitchforks away and let him play. It's a marathon not a sprint.

It's not so much the games,I would of been more worried abt him blowing his top and us going down to 10 men had he started, someone said he missed 11 games through suspension.

I guess we will never know,he was still a big big part of us winning the league as were the rest of the squad.

-- Fri Sep 07, 2012 10:05 am --

That goes for most of the squad.

Yes, I honestly feel we're capable of beating Swansea, Norwich and Wolves without Tevez...
Swansea you say
Who started that match then?

And that wasn't even one of the 7

Your point? Is that not why we didnt make wholesale changes to a team capable of winning the title?

Think Balotelli might just have played his part in winning that championship we have.

Its not often I agree with Skashion but some of the Mario haters on here need to take off there hate specs and cut Mario some slack. Without his pass to Kun we would not have won the leauge.

What a stupid question."What if" is a cop out when you have lost the argument.

West Brom, my apologies.

and there weren't seven last matches either by the way; West Brom, Norwich, Wolves, Rags, Newcastle; QPR.
We have had this debate before
You would rather start mario than tevez, mine is the opposite.
Mario as a person is worth 10 of tevez after what he did
As a player Carlos is far better at the moment.

Nobody hates him, just you've got to laugh at the number of people who seem to place more importance on Mario's pass than they do on anything else that happened in that match.

I'm a self confessed Mario fanboy. I was more excited by his signing than by even that of Aguero. He has it in him to be the absolute best in the world. Reading back on what I posted yesterday I can see it was a bit harsh, but the point I was trying to make stands. We don't need the tabloid attention Mario brings for off field stuff, we need the attention he brings when he's killing it on the field like he did at $old Trafford last season.

He has in various stages of his life been a victim. A victim of circumstance, a victim of his ability, a victim of the tiny minority of idiot supporters in Italy who have hounded him throughout his career because of his skin colour. He deserves to be cut some slack because of all those things and his tender years, and I don't know a City supporter out there who doesn't want him to achieve it all with us. He just needs to mature enough both on the field and off it to realise that everyone around him and at the club just want what's best for him.

agree with most of your post Billy but unfortunately there are some on here who would be delighted if he fails (sic). As for the off field antics Mario has no chance as he had been set up to fail by the British media and our so called PR department. The club could wrap him up in cotton wool and place him in a glass bubble but the media would still put a spin on it . Sadly the Mario haters want to believe all they read about him in the press, especially the negative shit!
