(Sheikh Mansour) Stuff The Lot Of Them!
Save your money Sheikh Mansour. Tell Khaldoon, Bobby, and Marwood there will be no more new players.
I'm f***ing sick of football clubs ripping us off still. Thinking we are still a transfer cash cow for them to milk. (if Levy would have gone for Sinclair, Swansea would have sold him by now at an acceptable price)
It's the same with clubs in Europe. Once City roll into town for a player, the price goes up by......(fill in as appropriate)
Well get to f*** the lot of you.
We've still got the team/squad to retain the title, as well as having a good go at winning the CL.
If not buying players in the current transfer window is the only way to show clubs across Europe we are no longer a club willing to pay vastly over the odds for a player, so be it. When the transfer window opens again in December and next Summer, perhaps normality and sensible transfer prices will resume where City are concerned. Bridge, Kolo, RSC, Johnson, De Jong, etc will also be gone, freeing up money.
The 4 year project on the pitch was achieved last season. We have a team/squad only bettered by a handful of clubs in Europe. There is absolutely no reason why this team/squad can't retain the PL title and have a real go at winning the CL.
Manchester thanks Sheikh Mansour.
