I've never watched one of these TV debates.

I know what the Tories will do if they win the election.

They'll keep a tight rein on government expenditure and try to run the economy properly.

I know what Labour will do if they win it.

They'll go on a tax and spend binge and leave the economy in a mess.

Why do I need to watch a TV debate?

You are quite right. He has conned the IMF, the ONS, and the currency markets, as the pound is increasing. The economic recovery is now noticeable, if Labour try to ridicule or obfuscate what is increasingly clear to many folk, here and worldwide, it is only the core vote and the myopic that will listen.

Running scared is ridiculous for a prime minister,i would call his bluff and if he doesn't turn up then milliband should have the time to answer the broadcasters question on his own,cameron would regret that lol

What is evident is that if you're in the opposing camp, (fair enough, why not etc;) it is no use throwing a hissy fit at facts and figures presented daily, what you need to do is attack the other myriad of failings the Conservatives undoubtedly have.

I'm still sticking with my belief that, with or without Cameron, there is no chance that Miliband is going to risk taking part in a debate with Nigel Farage. Cameron's doing him a huge favour at the moment by ensuring his position doesn't need to be declared on this right now.

I still really hope I'm wrong.

I think the whole debate thing is a waste of time. I think we need to find a better way of getting policies across than providing YouTube clips. Look at what happened last time. Clegg presented the best and got seats out of it and then reneged on everything he said. What's the point in that?

He didn't renege on anything in fairness, he is the minority party in a coalition, none of us have any idea what both parties had to let go to come to some sort of agreement, they are pretty far apart politically

In some ways it is a shame that the lib dems will get slaughtered at the election as their stint in power has added a bit of realism to their ideology, of the three main parties i have always thought they were the most decent and honest as individuals, they don't need to pander to business or unions

In fact i am pretty likely to vote for them this time and that will be a first for me

He didn't renege on anything in fairness, he is the minority party in a coalition, none of us have any idea what both parties had to let go to come to some sort of agreement, they are pretty far apart politically

Funnily enough, one thing both Conservatives and Lib Dem's did agree on before the last election was holding a referendum on our membership of the EU.
