Expanded for accuracy.

i'll be least affected from my business. i could retire right now. one of the reasons i dont is 8 other people are affected. if labour got in at least 3 of them would go overnight. in time maybe a couple more. i'll still be fine and dandy but they wont. well done gibberish Ed.

Don't be doing that, I need my carpet fitting first!

Oh I'll hang around. Still enjoy it:)

Good to see rEd is going to sort out companies using crown dependency countries to avoid tax, something the Tories promised to do ,but haven't.
He won't back down.

Ed is EXACTLY the kind of leader this country has been crying out for...!

In terms of absolute poverty; absolutely there's less. This is a undeniable fact. It is a linked point.

If it were the case per se, the NHS would be a long forgotten dinosaur of Socialist medicine.

As for"hard" left policies, what is sad is that its the now standard neo liberal concensus that pervades the media and anything remotely left wing is percieved to be somehow "Stalinist" . Neo-liberalism is more Stalinist than Socialism, as Neo Liberalismhas achieved what Stalinism did and that is to concentrate power in the hands of an unelected elite
Your postulation about the NHS is hopelessly anachronistic.

The NHS is, give or take, as much a part of the fabric of middle class life as it is of the working classes.

It is why it is such a holy cow, electorally, and why someone with as sensitive a political antenna as Cameron would never contemplate privatising it outright, notwithstanding the damage the current government's reforms have done to it.

And your thoughts on the Neo Liberal concensus being more Stalinist than Socialism?

You may have a point, up to a point, although it's not quite as simple as that. We still have free speech and an independent judiciary. Not sure either of those features are especially Stalinistic ; but I do agree that too much wealth and power is concentrated at the top. Not sure what the answer is in the world as we find it today though.

Think a change wouldn't hurt.

Agreed. Get rid of the coalition and replace it with a solid Conservative majority
Dream on Ron.
Eddie and the Jocks coming to a town near you.

One thing is for sure Len, they won't be coming to a town near me

(Just checked, the boundaries have changed over the years but the area has been solely Conservative since at least 1918)

Small point of historical interest, amidst the internecine point scoring, is that unless Messrs Major, Blair, and Brown accept peerages, which is rather unlikely, there will be no former prime minister sitting in either of the houses of parliament.

Do you think Dave will also lose his seat we well as number 10?
Can't see him falling that far tbh

Ha, yes, I should have qualified that. :-)

Another great week for Labour then.

No businesses or business leaders seems to be backing Labour at all.

The nonce sympathiser and Feminist Harriet Harman has introduced the bright pink campaign bus (acually a van). I'm no fan of feminists but I doubt this stereotyping of girls wearing pink will please feminists. Here are 2 women trying to park it..

On top of that, there's another weak performance in PMQs today from Silliband. Please vote people to ensure these clowns aren't in government.

This is how happy the Labour benches are...

I wonder if people know how shite their political opinion is when they are resorting to posting images of MPs looking a bit bored?

The correct answer is; He's too fuckin stupid to know his rayban from his raygun.

You can put my prize in the post, thanks.

We are very busy at work,we Dont do bad in Jan/Feb but its been mad. I'm not sure if it's the recovery or people spending whilst they can before the election. I think people know that if the liars get in we are fucked.

Excuse me? I love how you refuse to directly reply to my post.

Awww is your favoured party letting you down? They're hardly looking bored, I'd say down and out, and people want these clowns to be in the next government... If the tories or any other parties introduced a pink bus (funded by the tax payer) then there'd be threads. Half the leftist morons on here were cheering Thatchers death, I doubt you made any remark similar to the one you've just made. So yeah, posting a few pictures poking fun at Labour means my opinion is really "shite".....
