Even if you believe that the voting system isn't fair you should at least vote for a party that wants to change it.

If I was PM I would make it illegal for non voters to complain about politics.

I am not sure how I would make it work in practice so I will probably have to ask Damocles to run the system for me.

Interesting bit on Newsnight about Miliband's dad - who adored Karl Marx & wanted capitalism destroyed.

Were they describing how he, after fleeing the Nazis and arriving in Britain, he went down to the recruiting office and joined the British forces? How he risked his life, like many others, for three years in the North Atlantic, defending Britains shores in i's darkets hour?

Or was't there time for that, what with the piece about how Call me Daves dad got a sick note so he didn't have to serve but still managed to play competitive tennis in to his forties?

The MP in my constituency - who represents a party that I don't support - has an unassailable majority. Can anyone tell me what is the point in my voting? Just so that I can complain afterwards with a clear conscience?
