Ronaldo - Imagine what he would have been without the injuries.

Yeah highest scorer in World Cup ever, his injuries have really held him back, he could still go to this World Cup.

Ronaldinho will be the big omission in the Brazil team this World Cup

Kinkladze is still the only player I've ever seen live that I was amazed by. I remember standing in the North Stand with my mouth open in awe of some of the mazy runs he made. Literally took my breath away.

There have been a few whom I consider to be good but the little Georgian was a genius, played in pants team and still looked superb.

The goal he scored against Southamton, where he just skipped through the whole defense stopped infront of the keeper and basically said bet you can't stop me and just cooly plonked the ball in the back of the net was sublime. Best individual goal I saw at Maine Rd.

The best player I ever saw in my 38 years is Maradona.

The best English player I saw in that time is Paul Gascoigne. I remember a game at Maine Road v Spurs, about 91, he was unbelievable, but we still won 2-1 !

If he hadn't got his (self-inflicted) injuries we would be talking about a true footballing great.

BUT both are/were headcases!
