Perhaps some posters are able to acknowledge that the press coverage they get is a disgrace without it impacting on their opinion of her (in particular). The two things ought to be mutually exclusive to people who aren’t mentally weak. Some folk can think for ourselves.

something we see in other fields as well? media treatment being different between football clubs for example.

With the legal cases against the media that Harry or Meghan brought against the Mail, etc, they're in a vicious circle where one side has a daily forum to spread the manipulation you rightly mention.

It seems to me to be evidence of why the Palace don't respond often, and don't explain much because to do so would mean they'd have to respond to everything. It makes it easy to bash the Palace (such as over Lady Hussey), but they've decided that they come out better by not engaging.

This is what will happen with this series unfortunately - it won't be evenhanded, it'll be partisan, and the 'other side' are unlikely to offer any detailed alternative opinion.
