Piers Morgan epitomizes white male privileged toxicity. Spouts his nonsense unchallenged then cries like a baby when someone stands up to him. The typical school bully who takes his ball home. The guy who writes a book about being anti-woke and anti-snowflake turns out to be the biggest fucking baby. Don’t worry though, you’re surrounded by his ilk. This board is full of his ilk. I'm a not really interested camp !

So I only see headlines or the odd bit in the cheap press/media.

They didnt want to be in or around the press/media, yet in the USA never seem to be out of the press/media !

Dont want to be in the Royal family and work but want their kids to have titles ! So that sends out a confusing message to me. Want nothing to do with the royals but want their kids to be princess and prince.

I thought I heard that Charles stop paying harry. Well my dad never played me ! And if i had left the 'firm' why should he pay me.

Megan unfortunately doesn't on with her dad her sister, the royal family, the royals staff. That is sad

I get the feel megan thought see was on par with Kate, which of course she isnt. The press/media always shown how close the two brothers and Kate were, than harry met Meghan and those 3 seemed to grow apart and the British press/media made alot of it I think. So with the British press/media doing that it made megan the bad guy for breaking up the 3 young royals in some peoples eyes.

So I havent really go a view only a confused view of what they want from life. I am not going to read or listen to the interview.

The one thing I am 100% sure about is the effect of Harry losing his mum at such a young age , and in those circumstances is going to be very hard to take and understand. He will know all the stories of Charles and Camille.
Both seem to have had difficult childhoods. And now want to move on from a difficult family, just not sure how to do it.
Was harry made to walk behind is mums coffin ? As a young lad I cant think how traumatic that must have been

All in all I am properly like a high percentage of people who arent really interested and only pick up snippets, so arent best placed to have a strong view on this. So my views will be abit blinkered.

I cant say if I like them as I have never met them. Like I say I dont really read the press/media but this seems like abit of a mess, and will divide views and put people into two camps

The Sussexes don't want the shit but they'd happily have as much sugar as they can get their hands on. They were goin' to start a new life in Canada - that lasted a couple of weeks; they wanted relieving of their royal duties but wished to retain all the fripperies that went with them. They seem to me to be a couple who want a nice plate of cakes, eat them all, and start fuckin' moaning that there are no cakes left.

Therein lies the crux of the matter , are the people attacking the couple worried about the effect on the Royal Family or are they worried they can no longer get away with being racist.

I thought that in the main the couple seemed sincere and truthful. The woman has done nothing wrong at all and yet the U.K. press have acted like attack dogs almost from the start. Why should that be? One of the most surprising claims was the lengths the Royal machinery goes to to keep those tabloids ‘on side’.

I really don’t think we will be a happy, United nation until someone does something serious to rid us of this divisive, toxic cancer. It goes to the heart of our current society infecting all aspects of modern life. The targets are different, the approach the same. Enemies created and targeted to be destroyed. EU, Labour, SNP, Meghan and Harry.

Overall, it just strikes me as terribly sad that an opportunity was missed to promote an inclusive modern Royal Family with Harry and Meghan continuing to promote the valuable work they had been doing. Instead we get this shit show which I guess If you think about it is much more reflective of the current U.K.

I'm not sure Rasc, but when the report into anti-Semitism in the Labour party was published weren't you extremely angry about the party being branded with institutionalised anti-Semitism when it was only a 'few' people in the party guilty of it?

I would say to Hilary Clinton and others get your own country's act together on racism before daring to criticise others.

Yes I was, that is correct. It was proven to be a false accusation.

That should be no barrier to calling out institutional racism though and then they can attempt to prove they are not. In this case though I do not think the Royal Family will, because it is not in there interests nor do they want this story to carry on. they would I imagine prefer it was swept under the carpet and forgotten about.
