That should be no barrier to calling out institutional racism though and then they can attempt to prove they are not. In this case though I do not think the Royal Family will, because it is not in there interests nor do they want this story to carry on. they would I imagine prefer it was swept under the carpet and forgotten about.

look up the meaning of institutional. One person being accused out of a whole household the size of the Royal Family does not equal institutional in the exact same way as you rightly point out, one person in the Labour movement doesn’t equate to everyone.

Wow well said that man. I made the point in my post about Harry walking behind his mums coffin.
I was 50 when my mum died took me 10 years to sort of 'get over it'.
As a young boy walking behind his mums coffin that must have seriously effect him. Harry will also know his father's history about the affair with Camilla.

So I think he is a confused young man. Was doing that program last night a good idea ? Properly not. But he is angry, confused and really missing his mum.

Like I say I dont follow the royals enough to have strong views. But this racism remark do we know in what context it was said ?

The interview last night had one and only one purpose and that was to cement the brand that is now Harry and Meghan.

It had fuck all to do with settling family spats.

The calling out of institutional racism is not just aimed at the Royal family, it is aimed at the British media and that does need calling out.

I thought that in the main the couple seemed sincere and truthful. The woman has done nothing wrong at all and yet the U.K. press have acted like attack dogs almost from the start. Why should that be? One of the most surprising claims was the lengths the Royal machinery goes to to keep those tabloids ‘on side’.

I really don’t think we will be a happy, United nation until someone does something serious to rid us of this divisive, toxic cancer. It goes to the heart of our current society infecting all aspects of modern life. The targets are different, the approach the same. Enemies created and targeted to be destroyed. EU, Labour, SNP, Meghan and Harry.

Overall, it just strikes me as terribly sad that an opportunity was missed to promote an inclusive modern Royal Family with Harry and Meghan continuing to promote the valuable work they had been doing. Instead we get this shit show which I guess If you think about it is much more reflective of the current U.K.

Sadly this “new society” is going nowhere... I mentioned this in the Covid thread as I felt embarrassed about how we’ve handled the lockdown.. Far too many have just ignored the rules because they are self-obsessed and what they want goes.. the public fuel the press because if people really didn’t like the sensationalism then the press simply wouldn’t have an ear....

The country is fucked in terms of general attitudes and that is only going to get worse

The Sussexes don't want the shit but they'd happily have as much sugar as they can get their hands on. They were goin' to start a new life in Canada - that lasted a couple of weeks; they wanted relieving of their royal duties but wished to retain all the fripperies that went with them. They seem to me to be a couple who want a nice plate of cakes, eat them all, and start fuckin' moaning that there are no cakes left.

That’s a bit unfair IMO mate. Security is hardly a frippery for an ex army high profile royal. They both mentioned death threats during the interview. God only knows what threats are made that we never hear about.
I guess since he has been cut off from all family income he will need to provide for his family
