That’s a bit unfair IMO mate. Security is hardly a frippery for an ex army high profile royal. They both mentioned death threats during the interview. God only knows what threats are made that we never hear about.
I guess since he has been cut off from all family income he will need to provide for his family

His mother probably left him a double roll-over. 'Arry ain't short of a bob or two, or cent or two. I wasn't including security as a frippery - more the regimental dinners and the charity binges at The Dorchester, and so on.

Do you mean Meghan is falsley accusing and she is wrong? Or that the news papers (who did what they did to Sterling) are falsely accusing?

Mehgan has not accused anyone has she? It is Harry who is suggesting his family members have been making racist comments regarding the colour of his unborn childs skin.

The key question is why exactly have they given this interview? They have not done it just because they wanted to have a chat and a brew.

Now if they have done it as a publicity stunt and to ultimately earn themselves money, then everything they say should be taken with a pinch of salt as they are only going to say what benefits themselves.

If they have done it to highlight mental health, bullying and racism then fair play to them, they should be lauded. You have to be a little concerned though that they are not prepared to act against any racism they have suffered, but seem happy to cast aspersions against a whole institution.

One thing is certain, they have not done this interview because they were bored. It is also worrying that a couple who wanted to get away from the limelight have chosen to do one of the most high profile interviews in history. Something does not add up here.

You could understand if it was an act of desperation but the correct way of doing so is privately. Most of us here have had problems in our families but we don't go on Oprah to tell everyone about it unless we had something else to gain.

It's the contempt of the public that I find really shocking. They must surely know that the royal family are well liked globally, so are they seeking to destroy that by blowing the lid off on the true reality? Are they also saying it's true that William for example is part of the problem or is he too 'trapped' in a racist, damaging bubble?

The best one was Harry saying he'd been cut off financially, yes that is a 36 year old man being cut off from his taxpayer funded income because he decided to stop doing the job that paid him to do so. It must be terrible and my heart goes out to him.

As you say it doesn't quite add up and not only will this now get far worse for them but they've also burnt some serious bridges in the process.

I agree about the press but I think she 100% knew exactly what she was getting into and is now stuck with Plan B after her initial desire to manipulate the situation for her own gain, as a Palace insider failed... She was never going to have any real influence on the Monarchy as an insider so now she's pressed the eject button and is raking in the profits... Or will be

One thing that stuck out was the part with her saying she had car keys, bank cards, passport taken off her (I think that was the list in any case or similar)... she’s might well have gone into this thinking it’ll just be a lot of media attention (which was pretty shite a lot of the time) but maybe thinking she can be a royal of the people, mingle with the locals type of thing. Maybe like you say she hoped to influence the monarchy with a bit of Hollywood flair. But those freedoms she knew... to go down the gym, shopping, have lunch with mates, just go for a drive/walk... stuff we all take for granted.. it all goes.

If she did think that she could carry on with a normal life then she’s more stupid than she looks... She said as a kid that she wanted to marry a prince.... she achieved something at least
