The home support is terrible

Yesterday for me was the game that will result in me moving to the cheapest seat I can get next season and if I can't get a cheap one, unfortunately i'm out, yes I know the club won't give a shit as they will fill my seat but that's modern day footy for you, i'm not staying where I am, paying what I do when i'm not even being entertained anymore, it's flat as a pancake as it is now full of day trippers where I sit, the team don't seem to care much either and when I work out how much it costs per game I start to wonder if it is actually worth it now, there are a lot of other hobbies that cost a damn lot less than what we are paying, I may even just go to away games next season as at least the 'buzz' is still there, I haven't not been able to get a ticket for an away for over 10 years now so it's not like this is particulatly knee jerk as i've seen us play some real shite over the years, I think I preferred us (as a fan base) when we were shit and had no expectations!

Spot on.

I've heard some fans who follow City home and away (thus have a shit load of points) couldn't get a ticket because City took 500 seats at Chelsea to use as corporate.

Loads i know like me have jacked in there season tickets & like me intended to go to certain matches ,but due to having to fork out £30 before you have to buy a ticket (£46-£56 ) average ticket .they like me choose to watch in pub or at home .relatives will now only go to cup matches as they are usualy a lot cheaper .as others have stated the traditional support is being pushed aside .the Family stand is a joke as it usualy half empty .a radical rethink should take place regarding policy ,pricing & avalability & distribution of tickets .just make it easy for people to go .& get a decent system in place where as season tickets holders who cant go can get the club to resell the tickets

The club's fan base is going to be completely overhauled in the next 5 year's. More of a family event. The group's of youth will either go away games or watch it in the pub. I will never take my little boy whilst we have such a cheesy family oriented experience. It's not football and he deserves to experience the things I did as a child that got me hooked on city.

We use to go in the family stand when the tickets were cheaper, and the stand was packed and noise the last few times we went there seemed to be alot of non familys in there for want of a better word 'day trippers'.

The best time my kids had was when we were in the Colin Bell stand near the south stand listerening to the songs from both sets of fans, and the fact that City fans were singing about an away fan wearing a pink shirt.......my kids thought it was funny......if rude lol

If only the opposition would defend like we did yesterday the entertainment value would be first class.

Did anyone else see it before the game, when the cameras were doing the rounds in the crowd and that lads face was on the big screen, he took a picture of himself on the big screen with his fuckin IPad

That's what it has come to
