The bloody catering is worse than ours even. Took me nearly half-an-hour to get a cup of tea. And the traffic before and after was terrible as well. Their fans singin "You're going to win fuck all..." made me laugh. I think we might finish higher than them somehow.

After the game there was a line of coppers on the road where we were coming out from the stand. For some reason, they were randomly stopping people getting through and one of them said to a young kid "Where YOU going?". "I'm going home" the kid said and walked past him.

yeh they made me laugh trying to usher us up the road but being ignored by everyone. I'm normally very respectful of the law and even I ignored them

On the way in saw Stuart Pearce turning up on his own in a blue X5.

I will never complain about our service in the stadium again after waiting 25 mins for a pie and coffee. Why were they not selling beer? Also, we do the favour of giving them a friendly after the UEFA Cup groundshare last season, why did they not get enough staff behind the counter so that they could actually increase there takings on the day?

Saw the two lads jumping about like bafoons in the left stand. One with an Orange hat.

Really impressed with a guy sat behind us who had tought his 3 year old lad a whole manner of City classic songs. He put the ones singing Mxxxxxx songs to shame behind him.

All in all we played well against a team that is almost season ready. Lots of encouraging signs next two games to fine tune and we might hit the ground running at the start of the season. I must admit with so many new faces I was worried we might have a difficlut first few months till everyone beds in but you never know!

Thought toure looked good, really composed on the ball, always talking to ned and the other defenders. Looks a bit of a leader. Anyone know if he was ever captain at arsenal? tbh was dodgey when he came on and at fault for there goal.
