You would have thought vouching for the Tories and seeing the mess they've made that they would show a bit of humility.

It stops the boats, which is what was being asked.

It doesn’t solve the existential issue of being over-populated as a planet, no, but there don’t seem to be many solutions to that beyond getting people riled up enough to start killing each other.

The vast majority of people are thick. Lets say there are approaching 68 million people in the UK. Only 25 million are business owners or private sector workers. That means that the balance are public sector workers, students, kids, pensioners. or non economic contributors. Lets hammer the most productive and intelligent of that 25 million to keep funding the rest!

Madness - absolute madness. The upper 10% of that 25 million will just have less incentive to graft, take risks, create money saimolve etc.

The problem with socialism every time is you eventually run our of other peoples money. If anyone can prove me wrong on that i will applaud them.

But what an awful implication that public sector workers are not productive or intelligent. Tell that to your doctor. Or your judge.

I've got a relative who's a town planner. He's worked for a major private practice and does now. In between he worked for the government. He wasn't less intelligent when in the public sector.

One idea would be for the Home Office to give every applicant to it's Paris consulate a temporary work visa.
