As you will see from the responses your not allowed to have an opinion that differs from the same old faces…..that’s why a lot don’t bother posting

Maybe if Tory voters actually argued the case for them then there might be more who would join in.

Not at all, why would I need to. My only question was WRT your continued obfuscation of what your intentions.

It’s not very good trying to have a chat on a forum as you don’t get the full picture but at a guess I’d suggest you are a Tory voter who is feeling a little insecure in your intention to carry on regardless and are scoping ways to round your thoughts in the affirmative.

Like I say, I have no issue with who people want to vote for, what I don’t get is how some can’t be straight when taking about these things. If you want to carry on voting Tory, Labour, Lib Dem, whoever, it doesn’t matter, being honest in why you are, is.

Only in my opinion, obviously, and that’s why I’m upfront with my vote and why. ‘Whataboutery‘ and ‘All the sameism’ are just deflection tactics for those conflicted.

At the risk of repeating myself, yet again and contrary to the same old posters on here who appear to know my mind better than me, I will wait and see what’s on offer next year and then decide nearer the time.
It will not be on the basis of which will cost me more personally, when Labour were last in power, financially I did very well, it will be other issues from which I will decide.
My overriding message is and always has been, don’t expect too much and you won’t be diss appointed.
As another poster has said, I think it will be a low turnout because a lot of the Electorate are disillusioned and don’t trust any of them

They get shot down, called names and it becomes personal insults in the feeding frenzy so they cannot be arsed contributing
You surely don’t think the majority of posters on here reflect Society in general do you otherwise the Tories would be behind The Greens

That maybe wishful thinking and if we’re going along the line of future policies, and not policies past, then I guess the most popular to you, regardless if they’ve been delivered in the past, will keep your vote.

When I look at politics I look upon what has been delivered and what tangible benefits the party has brought, and possibly will bring to the people. Slogans and jargon may sound nice to some, understanding and reality are what I want to see.

They’re not too far away from it.

Most would stay away because they don’t have a reasonable argument to keep them in power, they’ve been that bad, but at least by coming on and saying where they could get better would probably bring more of a debate.

As I understand it, the Tory attack line now is that we've wrecked the economy so much that it's not relevant to point to Labour's previous record because they won't be able to do this again so you might as well vote for us...

I voted for the Tories under Cameron and May but not since then. At that point they were at least palatable because I thought Miliband was a fool and I could never vote for Labour under Corbyn. Ever since May was booted out I've been voting Lib Dem but mostly in protest.

I couldn't ever vote for Boris and the ERG poison which now dominates the party. The Lib Dems are nowhere and I don't mind Starmer so I will probably vote Labour next time.

Labour will win massive at the next GE but it's not because people are suddenly marxist socialists but rather because centrists and the centre-right have become politically homeless. Not all of us in this bracket are in favour of Brexit or stopping boats etc. Labour just needs to stay away from Brexit or else they'll divide people in half again.
